Installation Guide

Please check that all parts listed are present before starting installation.

Valves are not provided, please make sure that you have them before you start.

Before drilling holes for the brackets please check that there are no hidden wires or pipes.

The plugs supplied are for hard walls masonry only. Please make sure you are using the correct plug for your wall.

Korle radiators are designed for closed heating systems.

The radiator should be fitted at least 100mm from the floor to maximize heat efficiency.

Noting the distances between bracket centers on the drawings, mark out the position of the brackets on the wall.

Drill holes to approximately 35-40mm depth using an 8mm drill bit and insert raw plugs (1).
Using connecting screw (3) attach mounting bracket 1 (2). -
Attach mounting bracket 2 (4) to the radiator.

Guide all mounting brackets (4) into mounting brackets (2) and fix with connecting screws (5) and Bolt Nuts (6).

Connect the water flow. To ensure good circulation of water inside the radiator, ensure that the water flow pipe is connected to the correct side of the radiator using appropriate 1/2inch BSP valves sealed with PTFE tape on the threads.

After fitting you must be sure that your system is thoroughly flushed through to remove any residual particles. Although your aluminum radiator will not rust, you should be sure that a suitable inhibitor is used to protect your system and is refilled.

Fill the radiator and purge any trapped air using a flat screwdriver to open the bleed valve at the top of the radiator.

Wipe your radiator down using a clean damp cloth. Never use scourers or abrasives.
