Fitting The Alarm

  1. Fit a single screw to the wall, then insert the screwhead into the keyhole on the back of the keypad and slide down.
  2. The keypad can then be fitted more permanently by inserting a further two screws through the keypad (the holes are located either side of the speaker at the bottom of the keypad) – this is recommended to avoid accidental movement of the keypad and therefore problems setting the alarm.
  3. The magnetic contact can be mounted either side of the keypad using the adhesive pad, it must be adjacent and the arrowheads on each unit must line up – ensure the space between the keypad and magnetic contact is 10mm or less.

Setting The Alarm

  1. Open the door – the red LED will flash on the front of the keypad for 45 seconds.
  2. Before the LED stops flashing enter your security code followed by the # button – the red LED will stop flashing.
  3. Exit the building and close the door – there is an exit delay of 30 seconds, the red LED will illuminate momentarily before going off to confirm the alarm is armed.

Disarming The Alarm

  1. Open the door – a rapid succession of clicks will sound for 10 seconds (entry delay).
  2. Before the clicks stop enter your security code followed by the # button – the red will start flashing and you will not be able to set the alarm again until it stops.
  3. Failure to enter the correct security code within 10 seconds will trigger the loud siren. The siren will continue to sound until it is disarmed using your security code.
