Safety warning

Keep out of reach of children. For indoor use only. Do not plug in an appliance where the load exceeds 13A. Always ensure the plug of any appliance is fully inserted into the socket. Do not use if the casing of the socket becomes  cracked or damaged. Remove the batteries if the remote control is not going to be used for an extended period. Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix different types of batteries. Exhausted batteries should be removed immediately. Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire, electric shock, injury or damage to persons, product or property and will invalidate the guarantee.

Directions for use

The remote is supplied with 2 x AAA batteries – before first use remove the battery tab from the battery compartment.

  1. Plug a socket into the mains and switch on, the button on the top of the socket will flash red.
  2. Within 30 seconds choose a channel (A,B,C or D) on the remote and press the corresponding ON button, you will hear the relay in the socket click and the button will stop flashing red.
  3. Plug your appliance into the socket and use the selected channel ON/OFF button to operate.
  4. Repeat the above process on the remaining sockets.
  5. All sockets can be turned on and off simultaneously using the ALL ON/OFF buttons on the remote control.
  6. The sockets can also be turned on and off manually by pressing the button on the top of the socket.

How to clear the channels and reset a socket

  1. Turn the power off and on at the mains (the button on the  top of the socket will flash red).
  2. Press and hold the ALL OFF button on the remote (the red flashing will become quicker).
  3. When the button stops flashing all channels are clear and the socket is reset.

Battery replacement – remote

  1. On the back of the remote slide the battery cover downand  lift to remove.
  2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the polarity markings.
  3. Refit the battery cover.
