Product Usage Instructions

On/Off Switch

The power is turned off when the menu key is depressed. Enter each mode and hold down the MF key for more than 3 seconds to activate it.

How to Charge

Charging is done using a Type-C cable. When the device is turned off, the charging light turns off. As it enters each mode, the LED indication gradually turns on and off in red, and this process is repeated. When completely charged, the light turns off.

HOW TO USE RX/TX/MIC MODES

MIC Mode (Loudspeaker)

  1. Press the menu key to set MIC mode.
  2. Hold the MF key for 3 seconds. Then, the green LED indication flashes.
  3. Enter pairing mode by turning on the Bluetooth speaker that will be utilized as a loudspeaker.
  4. Once the microphone and speaker are connected in about 1 minute, it is utilized as a loudspeaker. The LED indication becomes completely green.
  5. It is utilized as a loudspeaker once the microphone and speaker are connected in about 1 minute.

RX Mode

  1. Press the menu key to set RX mode.
  2. Hold the MF key for 3 seconds. Then, the white LED indication flashes.
  3. Connect the 3.5mm connector to the microphone and wired devices (car speakers, wired speakers, etc.)
  4. Check the Bluetooth connection on the smartphone and select TIKTAALIK. The LED indicator is solid white.

TX Mode

  1. Press the menu key to set TX mode.
  2. Hold the MF key for 3 seconds. Then, the blue LED indication flashes.
  3. Connect the 3.5mm connector to the microphone and wired devices (TV, treadmill, aircraft monitor, etc.)
  4. Go to pairing mode on your Bluetooth earphone or speaker.
  5. In about 1 minute, when the TIKTAALIK microphone and earphone or speaker are connected, the use starts. The LED indicator turns blue.

How to Record a Microphone (while using the app)

  1. Press the menu key to set RX mode.
  2. The white LED indication flashes.
  3. Check the Bluetooth connection on the smartphone with the app loaded and choose TIKTAALIK. The LED indicator is completely white.
  4. Start the TIKTAALIK app and record a video.
