Installation Notes
- This product must be installed by a suitably competent person.
- May contain small parts, possible choking risk. Keep away from children.
IMPORTANT
- Please read prior to installation.
- Please read these instructions carefully before commencing any work.
- Please retain these instructions for future reference.
- Only use with Tagra Festoon Strings.
Mechanical
- Do not use worn or damaged wires or fixtures.
- Ensure the wire does not cause a trip or fall hazard.
- When trimming wire to length use wire cutters, wear gloves and protect eyes.
- Beware of sharp edges after cutting the wire.
- When drilling wear a mask and protect eyes.
- Do not attach wire to sharp corners or edges.
- Do not climb or swing from this product.
- Regularly inspect the cable and fixtures for wear.
- Securely fix the wall hooks to surface using the supplied wall plugs and screws.
- Do not over tighten the turnbuckle.
- This wire kit is not load rated and is designed for light use within home/garden environments – not for use where safety/ critical load bearing is required.
- Maximum unsupported span: 10m
Environmental
- Ensure surfaces are kept clean to reduce damage to components.
- Components are made from stainless steel and can be used outdoors.
- To be used for installation into masonary, block and concrete.
- Store in a clean dry area.
Product Warranty
- A warranty period is provided for products in normal use. For any faults arising during the period that are confirmed to be quality related by inspection by the company, a product of the same specification will be replaced for free.
- The warranty does not cover any of the following:
- Any product damage due to usage not allowed in the instructions.
- Any product damage due to disassembling or wrong operation by the user.
- Severe appearance damage or deformation of the product.
Diagram
Assembly Instructions
- Completely unpack the product, taking care to locate all parts included in the diagram above.
- Place the wall hook (D) against the mounting surface and mark the fixing points.
- Drill fixing holes (5mm) and fit the wall plugs (F).
- Attach the wall hooks with the screws (E) provided.
- Untighten the turnbuckles (C) before installing.
- Attached the hook end of the turnbuckle onto the wall hook.
- Lead the loose end of the wire (A) through the wire clamp (B) and then through the eyelet on the turnbuckle to create a loop.
- Pass the wire back through the wire clamp (B), pull cable taut and tighten the clamp.
- Rotate the barrel of the turnbuckle until the cable is taut.
