Recommendation

The SVEN E-217B stereo headset with microphone is designed to work with PC sound cards and other compatible systems. They can also be used for Internet telephony, video conferencing, multimedia applications, multiplayer online games, voice recognition and language learning.

SAFETY MEASURES

• Do not use stereo headphones while driving a car.
• Do not use stereo headphones at high volume for a long time (more than a quarter of an hour) – this causes hearing loss.

CONNECTION AND USE

Careful! Before starting use, it is necessary to fully charge the built-in battery.

Loading the gasket

• Connect the headset to the USB input of the PC or the USB charging device using the USB to micro USB cable (from the complete set). During charging the indicator a will glow red.
• When the unit is fully charged, the indicator will turn off.
• When the battery level is low, a short beep sounds and the LED flashes red.
• The headset uses the battery as an integrated part of the device, so do not try to change it, this may void the warranty or damage the device.

Connecting and disconnecting the device

To connect the headset, press and hold the c button until you hear the audio signal. When enabled, the LED will alternate between blue and red (device search mode) or blink blue (when connected to the device). To disconnect the headset, repeatedly press and hold the c button until you hear the audio signal. When disconnecting, the LED indicator a will start flashing red.

Control buttons

In combination with the phone:

• to receive the incoming call, press the c button. To end the conversation, press the c button repeatedly;
• to reset the incoming call, press and hold the c button (~2 sec.)*;
• when pressing the c key twice, the redial function of the last dialed number will be connected*;
• when the c button is pressed for a long time, the headset is disconnected from the device and enters the search mode.

Bluetooth technology

Wireless data transmission via the Bluetooth port allows wireless connection of the headphones to compatible devices. The maximum operating range of the data transmission operation is 10 meters. Obstacles such as walls and other electronic devices may prevent data from being transmitted.

Associating the gasket with the devices

• In order to transmit the signal via Bluetooth, it is necessary to make the connection between the device and the signal source in advance (see the connection diagram in image 2). To do this, turn on the headset, wait for the search mode – the LED indicator will alternate between blue and red.
• At the signal source (telephone, notebook, smartphone, etc.) it is necessary to select the Bluetooth device search mode. The name «SVEN E-217B» will be displayed on the screen, with which you must establish the connection*.
• In the case of connection, a short sound signal will be heard in the headphones, which indicates the termination of the gasket search regime. If no device is connected, the headphones will automatically turn off after 2 minutes. If you failed to pair the devices, it is necessary to repeatedly put the system into search mode (disconnect and connect)
• During data exchange (listening to music) with the connected Bluetooth device, the indicator for the headset flashes blue.

For Bluetooth connection with some device models, you may need to enter the code «0000».
If the product already exists in the device list of the source, then repeated activation of the search mode is not mandatory. Just choose the product name «SVEN E-217B» and the command «connect» to the source.
