Charge your Player Tracking Modules

  1. Connect Player Tracking Modules to a power outlet using the provided USB cable.
    Note: use only with a 5V/1A output power adaptor.

  2. The Player Tracking Modules should be fully charged after about 1.5 hours.

  3. We suggest you recharge your Player Tracking Modules at least once a week.

Turn on your Player Tracking Modules

  1. Left: press power button for 3s until you see flickering purple light.
  2. Right: shake a few times until you see flickering purple light.

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds

Shake back and forth

Turn off your Player Tracking Modules

  1. Left: press power button for 3s until the light goes off.
  2. Right: will turn off automatically if rest still for 2 minutes.

Place on a flat surface

Insert your Player Tracking Modules into Smart Shin Guard

  1. Insert left Player Tracking Module to the left Smart Shin Guard. Make sure the strip on the Player Tracking Module fits into the slot on the shin guard, and you can see the indicator light through the small hole on the shin guard surface.
  2. Similarly, insert right Player Tracking Module to the right Smart Shin Guard.

Getting Started

Download INSAIT JOY app

  1. Scan the QR code on the package to download INSAIT JOY app, or search “INSAIT JOY” in App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the INSAIT JOY app. Minimum OS requirement: iOS 11.0/ Android 6.0
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign up or login to the app.

Use your smart shin guard to collect your data

  1. Turn on Player Tracking Modules and insert into the Smart Shin Guard. The blue lights will flicker twice at a time, indicating Player Tracking Modules are standby for use.
  2. Put on the Smart Shin Guard. Usually Player Tracking Modules will start collecting and recording your movement data automatically after the first 30 steps, and the blue light will start flickering slowly.

Note

  • Footsteps required for triggering data collection varies by individual player, but usually it takes 30 to 40 steps. We suggest you turn on Player Tracking Modules and put on the shin guard before the session, then walk or jog for a while to warm up.
  • Do not connect Player Tracking Modules to your phone while collecting data.

Synchronise your data in INSAIT JOY app

  1. Turn on Bluetooth of your phone. Login to the INSAIT JOY app.

  2. Tap ‘■Connect” in the app to stop data collection and connect Player Tracking Modules to your phone.
    Note: If you’re connecting Player Tracking Modules to your phone for the first time, you’re required to pair the Player Tracking Modules with your phone. Please follow the on-screen instructions in the app. You can also unpair the Player Tracking Modules in the app.

  3. Then tap “Sync” in the app to synchronise your session data. Note: When your session data is synchronised to your phone, Player Tracking Modules will disconnect automatically, and clear all data stored in their memory. You can start a new session now.
