First steps
| Registration
On the www.maxiecu.com website, select the MY
ACCOUNT button. In the “Register a new interface” section, enter the
10-character number of your interface and data for creating the User account.

| Account activation
Receive an email with a unique link to your account. When you use the link –
your User Account will already by active.
Some e-mail boxes may not receive system messages with activation links to
inboxes. If you do not receive our message – please also check your SPAM /
offers inbox.
The activation link is one-time and only valid for 14 days. If you fail to
activate your account – contact us
| Interface assignment
If you bought a set with a license for single brands – after logging in, you
can select which brands should be activated. If you bought a set with a
license package – after logging in, all brands from the package will be active
After activating the license, it is not possible to cancel the selected brand.

| Settings
OAfter installation and launch MAXIECU software you can set your preferences
like:
- language of software
- user data
- application mode (tablet or computer)
- connection mode (serial, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi)
- type and store location of report To change the settings, click on the gear icon on the top.

| Selecting diagnostic option
In the main window of software you can select three options:
- DEMO – demonstration of software possibilities
- OBDII – connection with car by ODB II protocol
- Car brands – brands of vehicles with which you can connect (if you own appropriate licences)
| Selecting car model and ecu
After selecting the car brand, you have the option to accurately determine a
model, year of production and the controller you want to connect.
Also if you don’t specify controller, you can choose „Automatic vehicle scan”
option and click magnifier icon. Then software will scan all of controllers
from connected vehicle and generate report.
| Other functionalities
The MaxiEcu software include a lot of functionalities to assist vehicle
diagnostic:
- display voltage of car battery
- generate graph of vehicles parameters
- read and clear errors from controllers
- setting individual parameter in controllers
- make full system inspection
Configuring wireless connection
In the 4th generation of MaxiEcu interfaces, you can connect via Bluetooth or
Wi-Fi.
The connection setup process is one-time, i.e. if you change the connection
from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi or vice versa – you must follow the appropriate
connection procedure. In most new Windows systems, the procedure is automatic
and is no different from the process of connection to other wireless devices.
If, however, any doubts / difficulties arise – below we present the next steps
of the process.
Configuring the Bluetooth connection

Connect the interface to the OBDII socket in the vehicle – the interface diode light should be green.

Enter the Bluetooth module in Windows – on the Windows toolbar (next to the date and clock), click the “Bluetooth” icon, or use the shortcut on the keyboard: “WIN + i” and then select: -> “Devices” -> “Bluetooth and other devices”.

If the Bluetooth module is not active – turn on it.

Click “Add Bluetooth or other device” -> “Bluetooth” and wait for the system to detect the interface.

From the list of detected devices, select the interface (the name will include the serial number of your interface), and then click the “Connect” button.

Launch the MaxiEcu software. Go to “Settings” (gear icon), then to “Connection Settings” (two arrows icon).
Select the “Bluetooth” connection option and then click “Find”. The software will automatically pair with the interface (the serial number of your interface will appear in the Interface ID bar). -
Confirm with the “OK” button. After that – you can start the vehicle diagnosis.
NOTE: If the system requires a password, enter: 1234
Configuring the Bluetooth connection

Enter the Wi-Fi module in Windows – on the Windows toolbar (next to the date and clock), click the “Wi-Fi” icon.

From the list of available Wi-Fi networks, select the network that contains the serial number of your interface in its name.
Check the “Connect Automatically” checkbox, and then click “Connect”. -
Launch the MaxiEcu software. Go to “Settings” (gear icon), then to “Connection Settings” (two arrows icon).

Select the connection option “Local network”.

Confirm with the “OK” button. After that – you can start the vehicle diagnosis.
Service and warranty
- The device is guaranteed for the period of two years.
- Before replacement/repair please contact with us to get the shipping address.
- Product warranty starting date is based on the activation date.
