  • Read these instructions carefully before switching on the  appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions may result in an accident.

SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNINGS

  • PRECAUTION: Certain parts on this product may become very hot and cause burns. Pay particular attention when children and vulnerable people are present.

  • The appliance must not be placed below a power socket.

  • Children under 3 years old must be kept out of reach of the appliance unless they are continuously supervised.

  • Children aged between 3 and 8 may only switch the appliance on/off if it has been placed or installed in its designated normal working position and if they are supervised or have received instructions relating to the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks the appliance has.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they  are supervised or given instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be done by children unless they are supervised

  • Children of between 3 and 8 years old may not plug in, adjust or clean the appliance or carry out maintenance operations.

  • This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.

  • If the mains connection is damaged, it must be replaced. Take the appliance to an authorised Technical Assistance Service In order to prevent any danger, do not attempt to dismantle or repair it yourself.

  • This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
    This symbol indicates that the device should not be covered.

  • CAUTION: In order to prevent overheating, do not cover the appliance.

  • The appliance is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.

  • Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.

  • Connect the appliance to a 16 amp earthed mains socket.

  • The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.

  • Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.

  • Make sure the room is adequately ventilated if other appliances powered by gas or other types of fuel are being used in the same room at the same time.

  • Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.

  • The appliance should only be used with the supplied feet or wall brackets.

  • The appliance should be used and placed on a flat and stable surface.

  • When the appliance is placed on its feet, make sure that the surface on which it stands is stable.

  • Keep the appliance away from flammable material such as textiles, cardboard or paper, etc.

  • Position the appliance at least 50 cm away from flammable materials, such as curtains, furniture …

  • Do not place combustible materials near the appliance.

  • Ensure that neither the air access nor exit become either totally or partially covered by drapery, clothing, etc., as this increases the risk of fire.

  • Do not use the appliance in conjunction with a programmer, timer or other device automatically connected to it.

  • Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.

  • If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock.

  • CAUTION: Maintain the appliance dry.

  • CAUTION: Do not use the appliance near water.

  • Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or when barefooted.

  • Do not stretch the mains cable. Never use the mains cable to lift, carry or unplug the appliance.

  • Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.

  • Do not allow the mains cable to become trapped or tangled.

  • Do not allow the connection cable to come into contact with the appliance’s hot surfaces.

  • Check the condition of the mains cable. Damaged or twisted cables increase the risk of electric shock.

  • This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.

  • The power cord must be regularly examined for signs of damage and if damaged, the appliance must not be used.

  • As an additional protection to the electrical supply for the appliance, it is advisable to have a differential current device with a maximum sensitivity of 30mA. Ask for advice from a competent installer.

  • Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.

  • Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture. If water gets into the appliance, this will increase the risk of electric shock.

  • Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

  • Do not use the appliance, in the case persons insensitive to heat (the appliance has heated surfaces).

  • Do not touch any heated parts, as this may cause serious burns.

  • The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.

Use and care:

  • Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.
  • Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
  • Do not use the appliance at an angle or turn it over.
  • Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the mains.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
  • Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or those with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or who are unfamiliar with its use.
  • Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
  • Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, out of direct sunlight.
  • Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
  • Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if not in use. This also saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance to dry garments of any kind.
  • Turning the thermostat control to the minimum (MIN) setting does not guarantee that the iron is switched off completely.

Service:

  •  Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist personnel, and that only original spare parts or accessories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.
  • CAUTION: There is a risk of fire if the appliance is not cleaned in accordance with these instructions.
  • Misuse or failure to follow the instructions may be dangerous and void the warranty and the manufacturer’s liability.

INSTALLATION

  • Be sure to remove all packaging material from inside the appliance.
  • Make sure that the appliance is level with respect to the floor.
  • Install the appliance away from flammable material such as textiles, cardboard, paper, etc.
  • Install the appliance at least 50 cm away from flammable materials, such as curtains, furniture …
  • Ensure that neither the air access nor exit become either totally or partially covered by drapery, clothing, etc., as this increases the risk of fire.
  • If mounted on a bathroom wall, place it so that the socket outlet, power cable, switches or other controls cannot be reached by anyone in the bathtub, shower or at the washbasin.

Assembling the wall bracket:

  • The appliance has a wall bracket used to support the product .
  • Fix the wall bracket as you think appropriate, using wall plugs, screws…
  • Taking the safety distances mentioned above into account, place the wall brackets in the required position and mark the drilling points on the wall . (Fig.1).
  •  Drill on the marks and insert the wall plugs. (Fig.1).
  • Position the brackets, lining up its holes with those in the wall plugs, and screw it on. (Fig.1).
  • Make sure that the brackets are firmly fixed; it should be able to support at least twice the weight of the appliance.
  •  Fit the appliance onto the wall support.

Fitting the base feet

  •  The appliance has base feet (F) on which the product can be supported.
  • To fit the base feet, place the appliance face down.
  • Place the base feet on the body of the appliance.
  • Use the screws to attach feet to the body (Supplied with the appliance)
  • Stand the appliance up again and check that the base feet work properly.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before use:

  • Remove the appliance’s protective film.

  • Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed.

  • Certain parts of the appliance have been lightly greased, consequently, the appliance may give off a light smoke the first time it is used. After a short time, this smoke will
    disappear.

  • To eliminate the smell given off by the appliance when used for the first time, it is recommended to have it on at full power for 2 hours in a well-ventilated room.

  • Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use.

Once you have finished using the appliance:

  • Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  • Clean the appliance

Safety thermal protector:

  • The appliance has a safety device, which protects the appliance from overheating.
  • When the appliance switches itself on and off repeatedly, for reasons other than the thermostat control, check to ensure that there are no obstacles that impede correct air entry or expulsion.
  • If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself on again, unplug it from the mains supply and wait approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting it. If it fails to
    switch on again, take it to one of the authorised technical assistance services.

CLEANING

  • Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool before performing any cleaning task.
  • Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
  • Do not use solvents or products with an acid or base pH, such as bleach or abrasive products, to clean the appliance.
  • Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
  • If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use.
  • Note: When the appliance is switched on using the heating function following a prolonged period of standing idle, it may give off a little smoke at first, this is due to dust or other particles on the heating element being burned, and is not cause for concern. This phenomenon can be avoided by using a vacuum cleaner or a jet of compressed air through the slits of the appliance to clean the inside of the appliance before use.

FAULTS AND REPAIR

  • Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair it, as this may be dangerous.

  • The packaging materials for this appliance are included in a collection, classification and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public containers for each type of material.

  •  The product does not contain concentrations of  substances that could be considered harmful to theenvironment

This symbol means that if you wish to dispose of the product once its useful life has ended, it  must be deposited with an authorised waste management agent for the selective collection of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Use:

  •  Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
  • Connect the appliance to the mains.
  • Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch.
    If the temperature sensor does not work correctly, the screen will display the following symbol

Programming the desired temperature.
Press buttons 3 and 7 to adjust the desired temperature

When you want to set the timer to stop the heater operating during the day (programmable for all the days of the week based on the actual time of programming), press . The screen displays .
Use buttons 3 and 7 to program the current day of the week based on the current time. (Monday = 1, Tuesday = 2, Wednesday = 3, Thursday = 4, Friday = 5, Saturday = 6, Sunday = 7). Save by pressing .
Note: It is possible to set the program to not work during Saturday and Sunday.
Program the desired temperature. Save by pressing .

Program the hours that the timer operates based on the current programming time. Save by pressing .

  • The control light will remain green when the heater is in an active program.
    The control light will turn red when the programmed period is inactive, but programmed nonetheless.
    Example:
    It is 16:00 and we set the timer for 2 hours at 25°C for Monday and 3 hours at 22°C for Wednesday.
    The program will switch the heating on for 2 hours starting at 16:00 on Monday and switch it off at 18:00, and on Wednesday it will switch on at 16:00 and switch off at 19:00.
    Programming the night-time timer

When you want to set the timer to make the heater operate during the evenings/nights (based on the actual time of programming) press . The screen will display .
Enter the desired temperature for the night-time program. Save by pressing .

Enter the desired number of hours for the night-time program. Save by pressing .

  • The control light will remain green when the heater is in an active program. The control light will turn red when the programmed period is inactive, but programmed nonetheless.

Note: This program will be the same for
All the days of the week.
Example: At 20:00 we program 2h at 22°C
The heater will switch on at 20:00 every day of the week and switch off at 22:00.
Programming the desired daytime temperature.

Press and hold as well as pressing 3 times Enter the desired daytime temperature and leave it programmed by pressing or wait 15 seconds. To program it automatically.

Change the desired night-time temperature

Press and hold as well as pressing 3 times

Change the number of hours for the daytime timer

Press and hold as well as pressing twice
Enter the desired number of daytime hours and leave it programmed by pressing or wait 15 seconds to program it automatically.
Change the number of hours for the night-time timer

Press and hold as well as pressing twice.
Enter the desired number of daytime hours and leave it programmed by pressing or wait 15 seconds to program it automatically.
Skip programmed periods

Press and hold and press or once (depending on the period that you wish to temporarily skip).

Cancel a program

Press and hold or (depending on the period that you wish to cancel) for 3 seconds

“Open Window” function
The heater has an “Open Window” function If a window is opened in the space where the heater is located and the temperature falls 2°C or more in 2 minutes, a sensor will detect the sudden temperature drop. The heater will switch off automatically and display on the screen.
The heater will switch itself back on after 10 minutes. Nonetheless, the radiator can be switched back on manually before the 10 minutes have elapsed by pressing . The icon will disappear and show the previous operating mode by default
Press and hold for 5 seconds, this will display the program, next press the button to access the ‘open window’ function, the “ON” icon will be displayed and flash for 15 seconds to be confirmed automatically, or just press to confirm manually.
If the ‘open window’ function is active and you wish to deactivate it, press and hold the button for 5 seconds, the  program will appear, now press the button to deactivate the ‘open window’ function, the “OFF” icon will appear and flash for 15 seconds to be confirmed automatically, or just press to confirm manually.

Reset to “Factory” mode
Switch off the heater’s main switch.
Press and hold while switching the heater’s main switch back to ‘ON’.
Memory function
The heater remembers free-mode temperature settings and automatically returns to the desired temperature after a power cut. However, it will not remember the daytime and night-time mode settings.
