Product Usage Instructions

  1. Make sure to follow the specified operating temperature range for the capacitors.
  2. Choose the appropriate rated voltage from the available options (6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 35V, 50V, 63V to 100V).
  3. The leakage current should be within the specified limits.
  4. The dissipation factor (tanδ) should not exceed the maximum values mentioned in the specifications.
  5. The capacitors have a long life, but it is recommended to perform load life and shelf life tests for optimum performance.
  6. Ensure that the product is AEC-Q200 Compliant and RoHS Compliant for compatibility with automotive applications and environmental regulations.

Load Life

| The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to 20℃ after subjected to DC voltage with the rated ripple current is applied for 5000 hours (ΦD≦6.3: 2000 hours;

ΦD=8: 3000 hours; ΦD=10: 4000 hours) at 105℃.

Shelf Life

| The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to 20℃ after
exposing them for 1000 hours 105℃ without voltage applied. Before the measurement, the
capacitance shall be preconditioned by applying voltage according to them 4.1 of JIS C5101-4.

  • The endurance of capacitors is reduced with internal heating produced by ripple current at the rate of halving the lifetime with every 5℃ rise.
  • When long life performance is required in actual use, the rms ripple current has to be reduced.
