BOSE VIDEOBAR VB-S Conference Soundbar
Firmware Update Instructions
To ensure the best experience with the Bose Videobar VB-S, we recommend that you keep its firmware up to date. Follow the steps in this guide to update the firwmare.
Note: To update the firmware of multiple Bose Videobar devices at the same time, use the Bose Work Management app. Refer to the user guide in the app for more information.

On your computer, go to PRO.BOSE.COM/VBSDownloads and download the Bose Work Configuration app.

Connect the USB port of the Bose Videobar VB-S to a USB port on your computer.
- Use the included power supply to connect the VB‑S to a power outlet.
Wait for the VB‑S to power on.

Open the Bose Work Configuration app.

Click the Administrator icon.

Enter the password Bose123! and then click Sign In.
- Click the Configuration icon.
The current firmware version will be shown in the window.
Installed Firmware v1.0.0
- If the latest firmware is already installed on the VB-S, a message that the firmware is up to date will be shown under it.
Your firmware is up to date.
If newer firmware is available, the new firmware version number, release notes, and Install button will be shown under it.
- Click Continue to update the firmware or Cancel to return to the previous window.
Important: During the firmware update, do not disconnect the VB-S from your
computer or from the power supply.
When the firmware update is complete, the progress meter will disappear and
the Install button will be disabled.
