SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

The total power consumption of this device can be up to 1350W. Do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit, to avoid any circuit overloads.

The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, bed and breakfast environments.

The appliance is intended exclusively for boiling water

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Always plug the appliance into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

Appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Do not fill the kettle while on its base. Dry any water residue on the bottom of the housing before connecting the appliance to the power supply.

Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

CAUTION: The appliance is not intended for use by children, disabled people or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities. Supervision is necessary when you use the appliance by or near children.

WARNING: This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 years and over and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or by persons without experience and knowledge, provided that they use it under supervision or have been instructed concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the risks involved.

WNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts. -
6 CAUTION: Risk of electric shock or fire!
- Do not disassemble the base unit or any other part by yourself
- Do not replace or use other parts than the ones provided.

Do not let the power cord hanging off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with hot surfaces.

If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.

The appliance must be operated on a flat surface. Do not place it on or near an electric burner or a heated oven or a hot gas stove.

Keep a distance of at least 20 cm from the outside of the appliance during use. Never use the kettle near curtains, flammable materials and do not place it in cabinets.

Do not operate the appliance near petrol, paint or other flammable liquids.
-
**WARNING:** Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.

CAUTION: During operation, the housing becomes hot. Do not touch it while operating. Use the handle. Allow the appliance to cool down before storing.

Do not touch or remove the lid of the kettle during use.
-
CAUTION: During or after use, steam may escape from the nozzle or lid. Avoid contact of your face or any other part of your body with the steam.

WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.

Do not move the appliance when in use.
-
WARNING: Do not fill the kettle with water above the MAX point. Otherwise the water may overflow and cause burns! Risk of burns!

The water level must always be between the MIN and MAX points. A
**CAUTION:**- Fill the kettle only with clean water.
- Do not operate the appliance without any water inside the kettle and do not overfill it.

To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid.

Unplug the appliance when no water, not in use, while storage and before cleaning. Allow to cool before filling and before cleaning the appliance.

In the event of appliance falling into water, disconnect the appliance from the power supply by removing the plug.

Do not insert any pointy objects or other objects into the slots or holes of the appliance.
-
The kettle is intended to be used only with the base provided.
-
Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the kettle body as this may damage the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future
- Remove all packaging. Keep away from children.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, check that rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.
- Make sure that the appliance only plugs into a properly
- Fill the kettle with fresh tap water to the MAX level.
- Let the water boil and empty the container
- Re-apply at least 2 times to clear kettle from any partic 4at
WARNING: Do not drink this water.
HOW TO USE

Place the machine on a flat surface.

Before using the appliance for the first time, check that rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

Make sure that the appliance only plugs into a properly

Open the lid of the kettle by pressing the release button and lifting the lid upwards.

Remove the kettle from the base before filling.
-
Then fill in the water (max. 1.0 Liter).

Close the lid until it audibly locks into place. Place the kettle back on the base unit. Plug the device to a properly installed safety socket.

Switch on the kettle by pressing the on / off switch to position “I”. The power indicator light will illuminate. The boiling has begun.
CAUTION: Do not touch or lift the kettle lid during use of the appliance. -
The kettle will turn off automatically as soon as the water boils and the LED light will go out. j
NOTE: The appliance automatically shuts off if you lift the kettle from the base during operation. In this case, when lifting the kettle from the base, make sure the switch is in the “0” position before placing the kettle on the base. -
Lift the kettle from the base, and pour out the water. When pouring the water out, lid must be closed.

You may stop boiling any time, by turning the switch off.
NOTE: Never use the kettle without water inside.
CLEANING AND CARE
To prolong product’s life, clean and decalcify the kettle regularly. The
frequency of the decalcifying operation depends on the hardness of the water
and on how often the appliance is used.
WARNING:
- Always turn the device off before cleaning it and remove the mains plug. Wait until the device has cooled down.
- Never immerse the device or the base in water or other liquids.
- Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects that can scratch or damage the housing.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents to clean the appliance.
- Rinse the water container out with clean water. Then dry it off with a cloth.
- Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp cloth and polish with a dry soft cloth.
- Use white vinegar or a commercially available decalcification agent on the basis of citric acid to decalcify the kettle.
- After descaling the device boil fresh water in it several times (approximately 3-4 times) in order to remove any residues. Do not consume that water.
STORAGE
- Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
- Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
