Operation instructions

Single speaker operation

  • Connect to the power supply.

  • Turn on by tapping buttons on the panel or using the remote control.

  • This equipment is preset to Bluetooth input. For Bluetooth connection, please search for SOUNDGIL CUBE Mini from Bluetooth setting interface from your device
    (smartphone, tablet, etc.)

  •  Connect by Bluetooth/USB/optical/stereo 3.5mm cables and switch the input by panel button/remote control/SOUNDGIL application.

True Wireless Stereo mode pairing operation:
If you have 2 CUBE Mini speakers, it is possible to use TWS mode.

  1.  Turn on both CUBE Mini speakers.

  2.  Select one CUBE Mini as the primary (default is the left channel) and connect to any audio input.
    Long press the buttons on the panel of primary speaker at the same time until a voice prompt sounds.

    •  Please clear all inputs to the secondary speaker and switch to Bluetooth mode before setting.
  3. For secondary speaker, long press the panel buttons at the same time until a voice prompt sounds indicating successful pairing. After pairing, TWS pairing indicator on both primary and secondary speakers will turn solid white.

  4. After pairing, the audio input indicator on primary will turn to the color as playing (refer to indicator color list) and the indicator on secondary will turn purple.

  5. When disconnecting TWS connection, please long press the panel buttons on primary or secondary until TWS pairing indicator  turns off and a voice prompt sounds.

Recommended installation:

  •  Height:

Place the speaker at the same height as your ears.

  •  Angle:

Put the speaker at an angle slightly to the center, facing the audience.

  • Distance:

It is recommended to put the speakers 2m from the audience to acquire the best effect.
SOUNDGIL CUBE Mini True Wireless Stereo Speake 04(III) Multi-device wireless connection operation:
It is possible to apply a multi-device wireless connection when you have 2 or more CUBE Mini speakers.

  1. Turn on all CUBE Mini speakers for connection.

  2.  Select one CUBE Mini as the primary and connect to any input. Short press Broadcast pinhole button on the panel with a sharp object (like a pen tip).
    Enter multi-device wireless connection mode after a voice prompt sounds. *Please clear all inputs to the secondary speaker and switch to Bluetooth mode before setting.

  3. Short press Broadcast pinhole button on the panel of CUBE Mini speakers for connection with a sharp object (like a pen tip). After pairing, multi-device wireless connection indicator will turn solid white.

  4. After pairing, the audio input indicator on primary will turn to the color as playing (refer to indicator color list) and the indicator on secondary will turn yellow.

  5.  Short press Broadcast pinhole buttons on primary and secondary to disconnect multi-device wireless mode.

 Soundgil application installation

Besides the remote control and buttons, you can also operate CUBE Mini by downloading the Soundgil application to iOS or Android devices. Search for “Soundgil” in the App Store or Google Play Store to download and install.

Correct use:
When using Cube Mini portable Bluetooth speakers, follow operation instructions provided by this manual to ensure safety. DO NOT use for other than the intended purpose.  Misuse could lead to property damage or personnel injury. The manufacturer or supplier is not liable for any damage or injury caused by improper use or misuse.
Read and keep this user manual:
This user manual is enclosed with CUBE Mini portable Bluetooth speaker (hereinafter referred to as “speaker”) package and contains important information related to the system setting and use. Please read this manual thoroughly before use. To ensure your safety, please read safety precautions before use. Failure to follow could lead to personnel injury or product damage. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference. Please transfer this user manual along with the product to a third party.
Note: DO NOT open the equipment cover to prevent electric shock.

  • A triangle with a lightning sign is intended to warn the user of a high voltage could lead to an electric shock
  • A triangle with an exclamation mark is intended to warn the user of important operation and maintenance instructions.

Electrical and general safety precautions

  1.  Please read all safety and operation instructions thoroughly before use.

  2. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

  3. Please follow all instructions, precautions, and warnings in this manual to ensure your safety.

  4. Avoid using the equipment near water (such as near a pool).

  5.  Use a dry cloth to clean the equipment.

  6. Avoid installing the equipment near heat, like a heat radiator, heat accumulator, furnace, and other heating device.

  7.  Use parts/optional accessories/accessories designated by the original manufacturer only.

  8. Before connecting the speaker to power, make sure local supply voltage is the same as nominal voltage on the power supply. Please check with your supplier before connecting if the voltage is different.

  9.  Please connect the speaker to a receptacle/port which is easily accessible to allow quick disconnection when any incident occurs.

  10. Avoid using the speaker when the body, power cord, or plug is damaged.

  11. DO NOT touch the plug with wet hands.

  12. DO NOT pull on a cord when removing a plug from a port/receptacle. Hold the plug to remove to ensure safety.

  13. DO NOT move, drag or transport the speaker by the power cord.

  14. Make sure the power cord is well-organized to avoid trip hazards.

  15. DO NOT twist the power cord or place it at a sharp edge.

  16.  Use the stand, tray, support and leather cover enclosed in the package or designated by the original manufacturer only.When moving an equipment installing on the stand, make sure to avoid falling off to prevent damage.

  17.  Make sure the equipment is securely installed to avoid damage.

  18.  Unplug to avoid potential hazards/damages during a thunderstorm or when not in use for a long time.

  19. DO NOT open the equipment to repair or modify without approval.
    This device does not come with parts for self-repair. Contact a qualified technician for repair when necessary. Opening the equipment or modification without approval will make it difficult for maintenance personnel to repair and could change function or nature. This type of failure is not covered by warranty.

  20.  DO NOT put the equipment near water. DO NOT put objects containing liquid, such as vessels, on the equipment.

  21.  DO NOT put the equipment near heat, such as a lit candle.

  22. Use the power supply of the original manufacturer only. The power supply is dedicated to the speaker and should only be used as instructed. The operating temperature of the power supply is 0-40℃.

  23.  Follow local regulations when disposing of battery.

  24.  This device is designed to be used in land areas under a height of 2,000m.

  25. This device is designed to be used in non-tropical climates.

  26. Only replace with parts designated by the original manufacturer or having same functions to replace a damaged power cord or plug.

  27. This device is a Class II equipment with double insulation design. No grounding is necessary to protect such appliances.

  28. A triangle with a lightning bolt is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the enclosure that may lead to electric shock.

  29. Warning: This equipment does not contain parts for self-repair. To lower the risk of electric shock, DO NOT remove the enclosure (or back plate). Contact the original manufacturer or professional repair technician when damaged.

  30. A triangle with an exclamation mark is intended to alert the user to follow important operation and maintenance (repair) instructions in the enclosed information.

  31. Please follow recycling requirements responsibly. Consider to give away or sell the equipment if it is still usable.

  32. This equipment is recyclable. A product with this symbol should not be discarded with household waste. Please bring the equipment to a designated recycling location of the waste electrical and electronic equipment when product life ends. For more recycling location information, please check with local regulators. The purpose of EU WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) Directive is to significantly reduce the amount of WEEE going to the landfill and further decrease the negative environmental and health impacts.

  33.  Please check with the original manufacturer for repairs. Repairs and checks are necessary when the speaker is damaged, including damaged power cord or plug, splashed by liquid, hit by foreign objects, exposed to rain or moisture, function failure or drops. DO NOT try to repair the equipment by yourself. Open or remove the back plate could cause the risk of dangerous voltage or other hazards.Please contact SOUNDGIL customer service for more information on authorized local service centers.

Battery safety precautions
Warning: Risks of explosion, damage and injury!

  1. Improper battery handling could increase risks of explosion, leakage, serious injury and property damage.
  2. The enclosed remote control is battery-powered. Batteries swallowed accidentally can cause serious burns to the body or even death.
  3.  Improper battery replacement can cause personnel injury and equipment safety problems. Replace with the identical or same size battery only.
  4. A swallowed battery can lead to chemical burns!
  5. Make sure to keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children.
  6. Please stop using the remote control if the battery chamber cover cannot be locked securely and keep it out of the reach of children.
  7. Please seek medical assistance immediately If a battery is swallowed or gets into the body by accident.
  8. Recycle or dispose of old batteries immediately.
  9. Make sure the battery is not exposed to high temperature, like direct sunlight, fire sources, etc.

SOUNDGIL CUBE Mini Terms of Warranty

  1. One year of limited warranty for the main unit (applicable to SOUNDGIL genuine products only)
    Within One year from the date of purchase ( excluding the day of purchase ), we will either perform repair or replace the main unit with a product of the same model and specifications, as appropriate under the limited warranty for the main unit ,once the performance failure has been determined by SOUNDGIL as non-man-made damage. The appearance of the unit and accessories has been inspected at the time of purchase and thus is not covered by the warranty. When any man-made damage is found on the case of the returned product, SOUNDGIL will charge you a case replacement fee as appropriate . ( The main unit of the audio product to be replaced should be returned along with the purchased accessories )

  2. Six months of limited warranty for accessories (applicable to SOUNDGIL genuine products only) Within six months from the date of purchase( excluding the day of purchase ), we will replace the accessories with those of the same specifications, as appropriate under the limited warranty for the accessories, once the performance failure has been determined as non-man-made damage.

  3.  Scope of Warranty Coverage

  4.  SOUNDGIL warranty covers the SOUNDGIL genuine audio and the SOUNDGIL genuine accessories included in the original package ( hereafter “SOUNDGIL Products” collectively ) purchased by users from an authorized distributor.

  5. One year and six months of limited material and workmanship warranty are applicable to the main unit and the accessories respectively ( hereafter “Warranty Period” collectively ), provided that the user operates SOUNDGIL products properly in accordance with the instructions issued by SOUNDGIL. The instructions issued by SOUNDGIL include , but not limited to, technical specifications and the information contained in the user manual.

  6.  Scope beyond Warranty Coverage

  7. Any hardware products of brands other than SOUNDGIL, even if they were packaged and sold along with SOUNDGIL hardware. Manufacturers ,suppliers or publishers other than SOUNDGIL may provide their own warranties . For detailed information ,contact your vendor.

  8.  SOUNDGIL software published by SOUNDGIL or non-SOUNDGIL software ( including but not limited to system software ).

  9. SOUNDGIL makes no warranty of interruption or error-free operation of SOUNDGIL products. SOUNDGIL will not be held liable for the inability to use the product or any damage arising out of non-compliance with the operating instructions pertaining to the product.

  10.  The warranty does not cover:

  11.  Consumables ( e.g. battery or protective coating which wears out over time ), except for those failed as a result of material or workmanship defects;

  12. Appearance damage, including but not limited to the scratches, dents and damaged plastic on the ports , except for those failed as a result of material or workmanship defects;

  13. Inability to use the product or damage as a result of using the product in conjunction with third party components or products not conforming to SOUNDGIL product specifications;

  14. Inability to use the product or damage as a result of accident ,abuse ,misuse ,fire ,liquid intrusion , earthquake and other external factors;

  15.  Inability to use the product or damage as a result of non-compliance with the instructions issued by SOUNDGIL when operating SOUNDGIL products;

  16. Inability to use the product or damage as a result of any repair ( including upgrade and expansion ) carried out by a representative or service center not authorized by SOUNDGIL;

  17.  SOUNDGIL products which have undergone modification for the purpose of function or performance change without the written permission from SOUNDGIL;

  18. Defects as a result of normal wear and deteriorationof SOUNDGIL products;

  19. Removal or smudging of any serial number on SOUNDGIL products;and

  20. Stolen products that government agencies have alerted SOUNDGIL to and for which you are unable to prove you are the authorized user in any possible way ( e.g. proof of purchase ).

  21. Warranty Procedures

    1.  Before you are provided with warranty services, SOUNDGIL or its ents may ask you to provide detailed information on your proof of purchase, answer questions designed to diagnose potential issues and follow SOUNDG-IL’s warranty procedures.
  22. Provision of SOUNDGIL Warranty Service: You may bring your SOUNDGIL products to a SOUNDGIL retail store and they will send your SOUNDGIL products to one of the SOUNDGIL service centers for repair. Once the repaired SOUNDGIL products are returned , SOUNDGIL or its agents will notify you and retain the products at its premise for you for a period of 3 months. If you fail to claim your products within this period, your products will be processed at SOUNDGIL’s sole discretion.

  23.  If you submit your application to SOUNDGIL or SOUNDGIL authorized service centers under the terms of the warranty within the warranty period, SOUNDGIL may perform the following as appropriate (the level of product damage should be assessed based on the inspection carried by SOUNDGIL, whereas the information provided by the user is for reference only):

    *  Repair SOUNDGIL products with new parts or used parts with equivalent performance and stability once the performance failure has been determined by SOUNDGIL as non-man-made damage;
    * Replace your SOUNDGIL products with those of the same model (or products with similar functionalities upon your consent) once the performance failure has been determined by SOUNDGIL as non-man-made damage. / The replacement product will be assembled with new parts and / or used parts with equivalent performance and stability; and
    * Consumers have the right to choose the paid repair service once the performance failure has been determined by SOUNDGIL as man-made damage.
  4. SOUNDGIL may require you to change certain parts or SOUNDGIL products. The warranty period of the replacement parts or SOUNDGIL products is either the remaining period of the original warranty or 90 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is later. The replaced SOUNDGIL products or parts shall become your property and the retired or refunded SOUNDGIL products shall become SOUNDGIL’s property.
  5. Application to Warranty Service  

You may use the information below to contact your SOUNDGIL representative or (if applicable) retail stores operated by SOUNDGIL (hereafter “SOUNDGIL Retail Store”).The SOUNDGIL retail store will help you verify if your SOUNDGIL products have to be repaired. If necessary, they will further instruct you to apply warranty service from SOUNDGIL. If you contact SOUNDGIL by telephone, an extra fee may be assessed (depending on your location).

  1. Major Limitations on SOUNDGIL Product Warranty

  2. SOUNDGIL may limit the provision of SOUNDGIL product warranty services to the countries where SOUNDGIL or its authorized distributors initially sell the products.

  3.  Disclaimer
    Unless otherwise specified, SOUNDGIL shall not be liable for any damage or inability to use the product as a result of violation against the terms of the warranty, including but not limited to loss of use, revenue, actual or expected profit(including contract profit), application of funds, expected savings, business, opportunities, goodwill or data, compromised or corrupted programs, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage due to any reason (including but not limited to replacement of equipment and property).

  4. General Rules

SOUNDGIL reserves the right to make changes to the warranty at any time. Any SOUNDGIL distributor, retail store, agent or employee is not entitled to make amendments, extensions or additions to the content of the warranty. Where any provision in the warranty is considered as illegal or inexecutable, the legality and executability of other provisions will not be affected.
