Balance Water
Adjust water balance
Parameter | Ideal Range | Adjust by |
---|---|---|
pH | 7.2 – 7.6 | Lower by adding Hydrochloric Acid. Raise by adding Sodium |
Bicarbonate.
Calcium Hardness| 170 – 250ppm| Lower by diluting the pool water. Raise by
adding Calcium Chloride.
Alkalinity| 60 -150ppm| Lower by adding Hydrochloric Acid. Raise by adding
Sodium Bicarbonate.
TDS| 1000-1500ppm| Lower by diluting the pool water. Raise by adding Pool
Salt.
Do not use Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer) as this will interfere with the oxidizing capability of the Enviroswim system

-
Balance the water as per above. Ensure all Enviroswim switches are set to OFF and variable controls (Ionizer and ORP) at minimum (fully counter clockwise).
-
Set the left-hand switch (AUTO/OFF/MANUAL) on the Enviroswim Control Box to MANUAL. Turn on the pool pump so that water is flowing through the filtration system, including the Enviroswim Oxidizer/Ionizer Wet Cell Housing and Ultrasonic Chamber. Make sure that the Oxidizer/Ionizer Wet Cell Housing is filled with water.
-
Set the right-hand switch (ON/OFF) on the Enviroswim Control Box to ON.
-
Turn the Oxidizer knob on the Enviroswim Control Box (under the Oxidizer display) slowly clockwise until the Oxidizer display reads between 14 – 16 Amps.
-
Turn the Ionizer knob to maximum. Run the unit for approximately 1 hour per 1,000 liters of water.
-
Perform chemical tests to determine the water balance readings for pH, ORP, alkalinity, copper and calcium hardness then adjust accordingly (see the above balance water table).
Note: Copper Testing – the copper levels can only be checked when pH is in the correct range. -
Once the copper levels are within the range of 0.2-0.4 ppm, set the timeclock for the appropriate run time (1 hour per 10,000 liters) and adjust the Ionizer output to 20-40%.
-
Start-up is now complete. Remember every pool is different. Factors that will impact runtime are location, bather load, season, type of cover and water temperature.
When can I use the pool?
When all the water levels are balanced correctly, as per the above table.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION INSTALLER
This installation guide contains important information about the installation
of this product. For complete instructions on operation and safe use of this
product refer to Enviroswim ES3 User Manual.
WARNING – READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PERTAINING TO A RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS
WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use
this product.
WARNING – When mixing acid with water, ALWAYS ADD ACID TO WATER, NEVER
ADD WATER TO ACID. WARNING – There are no serviceable parts in the control
box. Return to Enviroswim for service.
WARNING – Do not operate electrolytic cell without proper flow or water
circulation. A build-up of gases can occur and cause hazardous conditions.
CAUTION – Use of chemicals other than those recommended may be hazardous.
Follow the Chemical Manufacturer’s Instructions.
CAUTION – This unit is for use with permanently installed pools. Do not
use with storable pools. A permanently installed pool is constructed in or on
the ground or in a building such that it cannot be readily disassembled for
storage. A storable pool is constructed so that it is capable of being readily
disassembled for storage and reassembled to its original integrity.
CAUTION – Some modern variable speed pumps have settings that produce
inadequate water flow to either fill the ES3 wet cell or create sufficient
flow to affect the ES3 processes. Ensure the wet cell housing has adequate
flow of water and is full of water while the Enviroswim is operating.

Install
Ultrasonic Chamber 1.8 Metre Lead
For
50mm pool pipe, reducers for 40 mm included.
Ultrasonic Chamber may be installed anywhere within the filtration pipework, with any orientation.
WARNING : Ensure cell is mounted oriented as shown. Horizontal with water flow from underneath. Other orientations may disable water level sensor. Water Inflow should always be at oxidizer end.
