INTRODUCTION

The EC6 Radon & Vapor Intrusion Fan is intended for use by trained, professional, certified/licensed radon mitigators. The purpose of these instructions is to provide additional guidance for the most effective use of an EC6 Radon & Vapor Intrusion Fan. These instructions should be considered supplemental to EPA/radon industry standard practices, state and local building codes and regulations.
In the event of a conflict, those codes, practices and regulations take precedence over these instructions.

MOUNTING

Mount the EC6 Radon & Vapor Intrusion Fan vertically. Ensure the unit is plumb and level. When mounting directly on the system piping assure that the fan does not contact any building surface directly to avoid transitioning motor noise to the structure.
