Battery Installation

1. Open the door at the bottom of the camera by flipping the latch open.
2. Open the battery tray by sliding the latch to the right. The battery tray will eject halfway.
3. Alternate the batteries as shown below. NOTE:
   Do not mix old and new batteries.
   Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (NiCad, nigh, etc.) batteries.

SD Card Installation

4. Load SD memory card (up to 32GB) into the SD card slot with the notch in first and the metal pins facing you. IMPORTANT:
   Make sure the camera is powered off before removing or installing an SD card.
   If you are using an SD card from other cameras, please make sure to format the SD card in your computer prior to use in your camera. New cards are ok to use straight from the package.

5. No SD card message will appear after power up if the SD card is missing or corrupted.

Power

ON:

1. To turn the unit ON press and release the power button.
2. Check the battery level icon to ensure the batteries just installed contain the proper charge level. If so, you are ok to proceed with camera use.

OFF:

1. To turn the unit off, first wake up the LCD screen and then depress and hold the power button until the LCD turns off.

Ready Mode

1. After 30 seconds without any buttons being pushed, the LCD will turn off and the camera enters Ready Mode.
2. The LCD screen can be awakened by pressing any button. NOTE:
   The LCD will not “wake up” when camera is writing to memory.

Test Mode

LED Status Light: During the first 3 minutes of the Ready Mode, the red light will illuminate when the camera detects movement. After 3 minutes, all indicator lights will turn off until a button is pressed.

Settings

TIME:

1. To change date and time, start by pressing and releasing the ENTER button to set the hour.
2. Press the + or – navigation button to go up or down in sequence.
3. When the hour is set, repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the minutes.

DATE:

1. Press the ENTER navigation button after setting the minute to change the Date.
2. Press the + or – navigation button to go up or down in sequence.
3. When the Day is set, repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the Month and Year.

Name

1. Press the ENTER navigation button while Name is selected. The first character will be blinking.
2. Press the + or – navigation button to go up or down in sequence. Press the ENTER navigation button when the character shown is what you want and move to the next character.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the rest of the characters. Press the ENTER navigation button to skip spaces and save the Name.

Mode

1. Press the ENTER navigation button while Mode is selected.
   The highlighted option will be blinking.

2. Press the + or – navigation button to move to switch between Still and Video. Press ENTER to save the setting. MODE:
   STILL: The camera takes still photographs. VIDEO: The camera takes 15 second videos.

Active Hrs

1. Press the ENTER navigation button while Active Hrs is selected. The highlighted will be blinking.
2. Press the + or – navigation button to move to different options. Press the ENTER navigation button to save the setting. ACTIVE HRS:
   24 HR: The sensor can be active at all times.
   DAY: The sensor can be active in daylight hours only. NIGHT: The sensor can be active in nighttime hours only.

Motion Sensitivity

1. Press the ENTER navigation button while Sensitivity is selected.
   The highlighted option

2. Press the + or – navigation button to move to different options.
   Press the ENTER navigation button to save the setting. MOTION SENSITIVITY:
   High: The sensor detects the smallest movement.
   Medium: (Default) The sensor detects most common size movements. Low: The sensor detects only larger movements.

Exposure

1. Press the ENTER button while Exposure is selected. The highlighted option will be blinking.
2. Press the + or – navigation button options. Press the ENTER button to save the setting.
3. EXPOSURE:
   High: Night images will be brighter, but moving objects may appear blurrier.
   Medium: Night images will have balance between brightness and motion blur.
   Low: Night images will be darker, but moving objects will be clearer.

Resolution

1. Press the ENTER button while Resolution is selected. The highlighted option will be blinking.
2. Press the + or – navigation button options. Press the ENTER button to save the setting. RESOLUTION:
   High: Images will be at the highest resolution but take up the most space.
   Medium: Images will be at medium resolution and take up average space.
   Low: Images will be at the lowest resolution and take up the least space.

Delay

1. Press the enter navigation button while Delay is selected. The highlighted option will be blinking.
2. Press the + or – navigation button to move to different options. Press the Enter navigation button to save the setting. DELAY:
   The time before the camera is able to take another picture.
   PIR Mode: minimum 2s

PICTURES DISPLAY:

• A- Model
• B- Time
• C- Date
• D- Moon Phase
• E- Photo Count

Format SD Card

Having trouble with your SD card? Try this.

To format your SD card using your camera
Press and hold the POWER and ENTER buttons for 5 seconds while turning the camera on.
While the camera is formatting the card, the LCD screen will display FORMAT.
WARNING: formatting your SD card will delete all files placed on it .

SDXC CARDS ARE NOT SUPPORTED

To format your SD card using your computer

1. Connect the SD card to your computer. If your computer has an SD card slot you can insert the SD card directly into the port.
   NOTE: If you are using a MicroSD card, you will need an adapter to allow it to fit into standard SD card ports. If your computer does not have an SD card port built-in, you can use an external USB card reader that plugs into any USB port on your computer.

2. Open (Windows) File Explorer by pressing Win + E on simultaneously your keyboard.

3. Right-click the drive letter associated with your memory device, then select “Format”

4. Ensure FAT32 is selected under “File System”

5. Ensure ”Quick Format” is checked

6. Click “Start”

Mounting

1. When mounting to a tree, first remove the clip from one end of the strap so you can slide the the camera is attached place the clip back on to the strap. Then, wrap the strap around the tree and clip the two ends together. Pull the excess material so that the camera is strapped tightly to the tree.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

• Recommended distance from target area is 25- 30 feet for optimal imaging quality.
• To improve the quality of your images, try not to mount the unit facing the rising or the setting sun in order to avoid direct sunlight into the camera lens.
• If mounting to a feeder unit or dusty environment, be sure to clean the camera lens cover, incandescent flash cover, and the PIR sensor cover on a regular basis.
• Periodically check the mounting of the camera to ensure it is not loose.
• Make sure that you securely latch the door closed each time you use the unit, as the moisture seal will not be activated unless closed properly.
• Check batteries frequently to ensure no corrosive build-up, as this may cause harm to the camera.

Retrieving Images (SD Card Reader)

1. First, remove the SD Card from the camera by pressing on it until it automatically ejects.
2. Next, insert the SD card into your SD card reader.
   Please refer to your card reader’s owner’s manual for the proper way of viewing the files.

You can also use the WGI SD Card Reader for Apple or Android to access and upload your photos to the cloud using the WGI Hunt smart app on your mobile device.

Limited Warranty

Your Wildgame Innovations scouting camera is covered by a 365 Day Limited Warranty on parts and labor from the date of original purchase, and purchases must be made through an authorized dealer. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty does not apply to units, which have been damaged or abused intentionally or unintentionally. A purchase from individuals or unauthorized Internet sites such as eBay voids the warranty.

This camera must be registered with Wildgame Innovations via web, email, or customer service phone support, and accompanied with a receipt from the point of purchase, for any Factory Reset options to be available.

Tampering with or altering the unit will void the warranty. Any unauthorized service will void warranty. A copy of your original sales receipt must be produced for any warranty service and a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained from customer service at 877-269-8490 prior to returning product.

Wildgame Innovations is not responsible for any lost untraceable packages or those without a Return Authorization at the time of return.
