Ultimate9 TC
Available for iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play, the
Ultimater Throttle Controller App allows you to control and adjust the evcX
remotely and via a larger screen for ease of use. Search Ultimateg TC or
alternatively, scan the OR codes below with your device’s camera to download
the app.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
The app will open with the loading page, then revert to the default home
page/driver interface display.
From the home
page, select the menu in the top left hand corner ( = symbol). This will take
you to the menu page.
PAIRING VIA APP
From the menu page, select DEVICE CONNECT
Within the
Device Connect page you have a choice of scanning the device barcode. The
barcode is a small label affixed to the device loom. Alternatively, the last 4
digits of the barcode can be entered manually. The 4 digit code can also be
found by holding down both buttons on the driver interface screen
simultaneously.
The app uses the mobile device’s camera to scan the barcode.
Place the
scan window (box) over the barcode and it will scan and automatically fill in
the 4 digit code. Ensure that the vehicle ignition is on so that the evcX can
be located via Bluetooth.
MANUAL PAIRING
If the packaging has been discarded and the loom already fitted to the vehicle
so that it is hard to locate the barcode, follow the procedure below to
extract the 4 digit code from the evcX.
Start the vehicle.
For safety, ensure the vehicle is in Neutral (manual transmission) or Park
(automatic transmission) and that the Park Brake is on.
Hold down
both the selector buttons on the evcX driver interface simultaneously to
display the evcX ID number.
The ID number’s 4 digit code can then be entered manually via the Device
Connect page. Once entered, select ( =tater ) to search for the Bluetooth
device.
The App will search for the evcX Throttle Controller and if pairing is
successful, the user interface will load.
If pairing
is unsuccessful, a timeout warning will appear. Please ensure the evcX is
within Bluetooth range and repeat the pairing process.
On the user interface, successful pairing is indicated by the Bluetooth
connection symbol ****in the top right of the screen.
Once
paired, the app will connect automatically with the throttle controller each
time the vehicle ignition is switched on.

Wheel.
From the
Setting menu, select ‘Interface Style’, then select either ‘Launchpad’ or

uncluttered displays for easy mode selection.
