Get Started

If you received it for the first time, please initialize your D’CENT. After the D’CENT wallet has been shipped from the factory, initialization of the wallet must be perform-ed to secure your hardware before user’s private key can be generated. During initialization, you must register the PIN (password) and fingerprint for security.

  1. Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the D’CENT wallet. (Press it again for 2 seconds to turn off the power)

  2. Use the up and down button to select the desired language and press the (OK) button. (English / Korean / Chinese / Japanese)

  3. Select Create Wallet

  4. Register 4-digit PIN as password
    – Use the (up or down) button to select the desired number and press the (OK) button.

  5. Re-enter the PIN
    – Re-enter the same 4-digit numeric PIN.
    – If a different PIN has been entered, you will need to re-peat step 4 (PIN registration procedure).

  6. Fingerprint registration
    Register your fingerprint by lightly touching against the fingerprint sensor, repeat the process by slightly changing the angle of your finger when touching the sensor.

  7. PIN (password) and fingerprint registration complete When you successfully register your PIN (password-mandatory) and fingerprint, security is set on your D’CENT wallet.

  8. Generate recovery seeds: Write down all 24 words displ-ayed on the screen to the Recovery Card. Press the (OK) button.
    [Precautions]
    Recovery words are displayed only once during initializa-tion, and words that are displayed on the screen must be entered on the recovery card in the same order. Recovery words and recovery cards are essential for recovering your wallet, take extra care to secure them.

  9. Initialization complete: You will be asked to enter two randomly chosen seeds from your recovery card for verification. Normal entry completes the initialization. D CENT iD-Black Hardware Wallet - fig 5
