WOFI Light
These operating instructions belong ex-clusively to the SAVANNAH lamp. They contain important information on putting into operation and handling. Keep the instructions in a safe place in order to be able to refer to them at any time. In the event of passing on the light fi tting to a third party these operating instructions should also be passed on.
Introduction
Dear customer, Thank you for purchasing this light. With this light you have acquired a product that has been manufactured using the very latest technology. This product complies with applicable European and national standards. In order to keep it in this condition and to ensure safe operation, you, as user, must follow these operating instructions.

Connect the light only to a legally installed electrical power supply, whose voltage mat-ches the light’s technical data (also see type indicator for details).

When servicing the light, for example when cleaning it or replacing the light bulb, the light must be switched off. To do this press the appropriate switch.
If the lamp is damaged, then you must disconnect it from the power supply. The light can only be reconnected and used again once it has been repaired by an authorised person. -
Keep children away from this electrical appliance.
Approved use
- The light is intended only to be used indoors in dry environments.
- Avoid children operating the light.
- The light must not be used in spaces where there is a risk of explosion.
- The light is not suitable for use in commercial situations.

- The power supply must be disconnected before assembling or servicing the light.
- Electrical power supply must be installed by a qualifi ed electrician.
- Unauthorised changes or alterations to the light are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Ensure that you use the light correctly. To ensure correct use, read these operating in-structions.
- Never hang any object on or above the light. There is a risk of short circuiting and fi re.
- Do not use the light near liquids and avoid contact with water.
- Keep packaging material and plastic bags out of the reach of children as there is a risk of suffocation.
- Keep children away from the light.
- The light is only designed to be used in domestic living spaces. It is not suitable for use in commercial situations.
- If the light or its cable shows signs of damage, then it must not be operated. In such cases immediately disconnect the light from the power supply.
- Before operating the light, make sure the bulb is properly fi tted in its holder.
- Around the light bulb, the light gets hot. For this reason make sure that fl ammable objects are kept at a distance of at least 0.3 metres.
- Light bulbs must only be replaced with bulbs of the same type and power. When replacing light bulbs, do not hold them in your bare hands. If this happens, then the new bulb must be cleaned with a non-greasy cleaning product which leaves no residue.
- Only handle the bulb after allowing it to cool down for a few minutes as there is a risk of burning.
- No responsibility will be accepted for damage to persons or objects caused by incorrect operation or failing to comply with the safety notice. Guarantees are rendered invalid in such cases.

Check that you have all these items and that they have not been damaged Light bulbs must only be replaced with bulbs of the same type and power.
Damage caused by failing to comply with these operating instructions or as a result of modi-fi cations made will invalidate the guarantee. No consequential liability will be accepted.
Set-up
Before setting the light up, please note the following:

before using the light, please ensure that all screw connections are tightly done up

Making fi ne adjustment to the wires if, after installing the light in your ceiling, the counter-weights or the hanging lights are not hanging straight, then the wires will need to be adjus-ted. To do this, move the pushbutton (A) on the light‘s connection unit to one side. Now the wires can be pulled out of the unit a little, or pushed into it, or even rotated a little.
After releasing the push button, the wires will be fi xed in their new positions. -
The wires must not be pulled over sharp edges, tightly crimped, shortened or lengthened.

No ornamental objects may be hung on the wires.

If the wires‘ insulations are damaged and the red interior insulation becomes visible, then the light must be switched off at once and dismantled by a qualifi ed electrician.
Functioning
To adjust the height, only ever pull on the counterweight or on the wires (not on the glass shade or on the metal tube

Please do not use any jerky movements to adjust the wires..

Guarantee
Our lights are made from the fi nest materials and are manufactured using the
latest techno-logy. They undergo continuous quality control and process
monitoring.
We are therefore able to provide our lights with a two year warranty covering
function, pro-cessing and construction. The period of the guarantee begins
from the date of purchase, as indicated on your till receipt. If a problem
still arises, please contact your supplier or our service department
immediately. Problems and damage caused by normal wear and tear, incorrect
assembly, improper use or unauthorised modifi cations are excluded from this
guarantee.
Disposal
Dispose of all packaging correctly. If you wish to dispose of the article, do so in accordance with all currently applicable regula-tions. Information is available from local authorities
