DESCRIPTION
With Stick Up Cam Battery, a battery-powered camera that can be mounted indoors or outdoors, you can see, hear, and speak to people from your phone, tablet, or select Echo device. Includes privacy features such as customizable privacy zones and audio privacy to allow you to concentrate solely on what is important to you. You can check in on your home at any time using the Ring app and Live View. Record all of your videos, review what you missed for up to 180 days, and share videos and photos with a Ring Protect Plan (subscription sold separately).
Use the versatile mounting bracket to place on a flat surface or to mount to a wall. Add the Stick-Up Cam Mount (sold separately) for ceiling mounting. Connect one or more Stick Up Cams to all of your Ring devices in the Ring app to keep an eye on your entire home. Insert the battery pack and connect to Wi- Fi to easily set up Stick Up Cam Battery. Pair with Alexa to help you keep an eye on your home for added peace of mind.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?
The battery lasts for up to 6 months on a full charge.
I don’t like the blue light that comes on when it records because it can be seen at night. If I put a sticker over the blue light will it still work?
Yes it will still work. The blue light is really terrible — it lights up the whole room and wakes up our child. If you’re using this to protect your house it just alerts the bad guy that there is a light. I don’t really see the point of not being able to turn it off in the software. I used black duct tape and that took care of the dumb light.
How long does the battery last with one charge?
Surprisingly long battery life on initial charge! We are over 30 on the initial charge and still have over 40% battery life left on each of the 3 stickup cams. All are set to use all features, outside, freezing temps, snow etc. on a single charge.
For those inquiring? the masonry drill bit size needed for the stick-up camera is a size 15/64.
USES 3/16 – In the Video Installation it specifically calls for a 3/16 masonry drill bit. I just installed 2 cameras using 3/16 and it was perfect.

Can I buy the solar panel separately and use it with the battery version?
Yes, you can buy the new battery powered Ring Stick Up Cam for $99.99 separately. Later if you decide you want the solar panel, it is currently $49.00 on Amazon, or the Ring website.
Will this be using the same batteries as the older models?
Yes, the all new Ring Stick Up Cam uses the same Ring branded lithium battery as our other home security cameras and doorbells.
Need a ring indoor camera that activates and deactivates the same as all Ring Security Systems devices

Does it reconnect to your router automatically when the power goes off? Want to use it at a remote cabin in a rural area where I have Starlink.
Yes it reconnects after power outage. It just happened a couple days ago after bad weather.
Do the Ring Stick Up cameras come with a metal mounting bracket for outdoor use?
There is a bracket to mount outside, but I don’t recall it being metal, but it works fine for outdoor mount
