Summary
The wireless IR strip Beam is designed to assist with the protection of home entry points such as windows and doors. Easy installation with no wiring needed to the control panel. This model can only be used with Paradox Wireless panel MG5050 or RTX3 (EVO and SP6000)

Installation instructions
- When Power ON, Set RXITX Dip Switches as required, insert PCB into tube and refit the plug and cover
- Drill installation holes on the wall, fill in with equipped plastic expansion screws, then fix top and bottom installation base with M4*25 screws. Please keep TX and RX in same horizontal plane. (Make sure the top and bottom sealing plugs (orange) are inserted into casing before beam tubes are mounted.
Remove bottom and top cover of the RX and TX.

Loosen the adjustment screws on both bottom and top sides of RX and TX

Turn the beams to face each other and then adjust until beeping stops.(Indicates successful alignment).
Test by interrupting path between the beams. RX will beep and an open zone will show on the keypad of alarm panel if programmed. -
Note panel’s tamper settings and test tamper by removing RX bottom cover if relevant.

Tighten the adjustment screws and refit all covers.
NOTES:
- Always install with sticker side at the top to prevent water damage
When installing more than one pair to avoid cross talk select a different channel frequency for each pair
NB! Remember to program the serial number ” +1 ” of DCTXP2 into alarm panel. Found at bottom of beam RX PCB.

Troubleshooting
- No alignment or sound, – Check if both RX and TX is ON or if batteries are present or at 2.9V
- No alignment check if RX and TX is on same frequency channel.
- check if TX and RX is are facing each other
- check for obstacles between RX an TX check the distance between beams don’t exceed specification
- Buzzer beeps every few seconds- alignment not successful, refer to point 2.
- Zone does not close – Make sure+1 is added in serial number programming
- Make sure tamper covers are fitted correctly on Rx and TX
