HOW TO INSTALL

INSIDE MOUNT: Cordless Lift or Dual Lift Roller/Solar Shade

Optimal Shade Performance
Due to the manufacturing process, to assess optimal shade performance and appearance, the shade should be installed and should hang in the window for at least 24 hours. This will allow for the natural look of the fabric to come through.

Slide covers onto brackets. Bracket needs to be tucked underneath the bracket cover lip when fully attached. The bracket cover should be completely flush with the bracket cover lip.

Mount shade in brackets. Ensure hem bar is facing forward and shade installs in the brackets from left to right and the plungers snap into the bracket openings.

  • Keep shade completely rolledGraber-Blinds-Roller-Solar-Shades-Cordless-Lift-Dual-Lift- \(16\)
  • If it is a dual lift shade, when installing the shade, make sure the clutch and chain is facing down.

WARNING: Ensure shade is fully raised before removing.

  • Make sure the shade is fully raised. Do not uninstall if the shade is extended at all. Push the clutch end of the shade in so the plunger is compressed. Compress the plunger until the hooks clear the bracket. Lift the shade out of the bracket.

Lightly vacuum panels with a soft brush attachment or wipe with a duster. Do not use water or liquid cleaning solutions. Shades may also be gently wiped with a clean damp cloth. Allow the shade to dry completely before raising. Do NOT completely immerse.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Optional: Adjust Shade BrakeGraber-Blinds-Roller-Solar-Shades-Cordless-
Lift-Dual-Lift- \(24\)
The shade brake is calibrated at the factory, but if the shade creeps down or is difficult to lower once installed, the brake may be adjusted. To do so, remove shade from the brackets according to the instructions in Step 6. Next, insert a 5/32” Allen wrench. If the shade creeps down, turn the wrench clockwise ¼ turn to tighten the brake. If the shade is difficult to lower, turn the wrench counterclockwise ¼ turn to loosen the brake.

If shade does not raise fully

  • The stopping point at the top of the shade can be adjusted to consumer preference. If the shade is too low and after ensuring your shade is fully raised, follow the shade de-install steps below.

WARNING

Ensure shade is fully raised before removing.

  • A Remove shade from bracket
    • Insert a flat head screwdriver into the bracket removal ramp and rotate.
  • B Remove clutchGraber-Blinds-Roller-Solar-Shades-Cordless-Lift-Dual-Lift- \(27\)
    • The clutch’s outside ring will also need to be removed from the shade.
  • C Wind shade and reinstall clutchGraber-Blinds-Roller-Solar-Shades-Cordless-Lift-Dual-Lift- \(28\)
    • Simply rotate your shade clockwise or counter-clockwise until it is at the desired height. Reinstall the clutch and ensure that it is facing downwards before reinstallation of the shade. For detailed instructions on how to reinstall, refer to Step 5 found earlier in this installation guide.
