Safety Instructions

General precautions

  • Do not drop the product or subject it to violent shocks.

Precautions for electrical products

  • Protect the unit from dirt, moisture, overheating, extreme temperatures and use it only in dry rooms.

  • Never use force when plugging in the unit or any adapters.
  • Do not operate the unit outside the power limits specified in the technical data

Battery precautions

  • Avoid storage, charging and use in extreme temperatures.
  • Recharge the battery regularly (at least quarterly) if stored for a long time.
  • Never open, damage, swallow or allow batteries to enter the environment as they contain toxic and environmentally harmful heavy metals.
  • In the event of a leaking battery, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor.

First Steps

Charging
Fully charge the product before using it for the first time. Connect the plug of the supplied cable to the USB-C charging port of the charging cradle. Connect the other side of the cable to a suitable charger. Always pay attention to the voltage and power specifications of your device. Wait until the product is fully charged before continuing. Disconnect the cable when charging is complete to conserve battery life.

Charging the charging case
While the charging case is charging using the USB cable, its LED status indicator flashes red. As soon as the battery of the box is fully charged, the LED goes out.

Charging the headphones
The headphones automatically switch to charging mode when you place them back in the charging cradle, the charging case LED status indicator flashes green. However, the charging cradle must have sufficient power for this.

Earphones LED effect

  • Charging completed: Red and blue lights out.
  • Turn on: Red and blue lights flash.
  • Turn off: The red light blinks three times.
  • Battery low: Blink red for 5 seconds.
  • Connection successful: Red and blue lights off.
  • Connection failure: The left red and blue lights flash quickly, and the right lights are off.
  • Connection interrupted: The red and blue light on the left flash rapidly and the right light is off.

Bluetooth connection
Open the charging cradle and take out the headphones. Go to the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone and search for “4smarts SkyBuds Lucid”.

General headphone controls

Turning on/ off
Once paired with your smartphone, the headphones will automatically turn on and off when you take them out of the charging cradle or put them back. They turn off after 3 minutes without Bluetooth connection.

Play/Pause
While listening to music, twice touch the touch area to pause or resume playback.

Forward/Reverse
To skip forward one track, triple-tap the right earpiece. Tap the left earpiece three times to skip to the previous track.

Volume control
Long tap the right earpiece to increase the volume, long tap the left earpiece to decrease the volume. Repeat this process until the desired volume is reached.

Answering/ending calls
Tap the touch sensor twice to answer an incoming call. Tap twice again to end the call. Voice assistant: Tap the touch area for a long time until the voice assistant of your smartphone responds.

Trouble Shooting

  • The connection does not work:
  • Make sure that the product:
  • Is fully charged.
  • Is within range of the device.
  • Is not already connected to other devices (deactivate Bluetooth on other devices if necessary).
  • Make sure that your device:
  • Is compatible with the Bluetooth version specified in the technical specifications.
  • Has an active Bluetooth connection and is in pairing mode.
  • Does not have any other active device connections.
  • Depending on the device and its software, the initial connection may take longer. Wait up to one minute, or try again in an environment with less or minimal radio traffic, if necessary.

Restart:

  • If the headphones lose connection or other problems arise try a restart.
  • If the headphones are connected and disconnect automaticaly, double-click the touch position to reconnect them.

The communication is not clear:

  • Try again in a wind and reverberation free environment.
  • ry connecting to another terminal.
  • Make a call on another phone.
  • If necessary, try again in an environment with less or minimal radio traffic.

Care and Maintenance

  • Use only dry, soft cloths for cleaning.
