FCC Rules

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement

The available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with using low power wireless devices. There is no proof, however, that these low power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low power Wireless devices emit low levels of radio frequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. Whereas high levels of RF can produce health effects (by heating tissue), exposure of low-level RF that does not produce heating effects causes no known adverse health effects. Many studies of low-level RF exposures have not found any biological effects. Some studies have suggested that some biological effects might occur, but such findings have not been confirmed by additional research. DWT-P30 has been tested and found to comply with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines. R-7_v004-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_12/96 This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. W-11_v002-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_13/96 Antenna type: λ/4 Monopole integral antenna Users need to register with and check a white- space database to determine available channels prior to operation at a given location.

This model contains an FCC-approved RF module.

  • RF Module : RM-215
  • Contains FCC ID : AK8RM215

In order to comply with FCC radio-frequency radiation exposure guidelines for an uncontrolled exposure, this device and its antenna must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter

For the customers in Canada

This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions

  1. This device may not cause interference.
  2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. R-10_v006-000_5-047-

IC Exposure of Humans to RF Fields

The installer of this radio equipment must ensure that the antenna is located or pointed such that it does not emit RF field in excess of Health Canada limits for the general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s website www.hc-sc.gc.ca/index-eng. PHP R-11_v003-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_19/96 The term “IC:” before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry Canada technical specifications were met. R-12_v002-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_20/96 This device operates on a no-protection, no-interference basis. Should the user seek to obtain protection from other radio services operating in the same TV bands, a radio licence is required. For further details, consult Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s document Client Procedures Circular CPC-2-1-28, Voluntary Licensing of Licence- Exempt Wireless Microphones in the TV Bands. To prevent electromagnetic interference from portable communications devices

The use of portable telephones and other communications devices near this unit can result in malfunctions and interference with audio and video signals. It is recommended that the portable communications devices near this unit be powered off. M-A150-00_v004-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_93/96 If the unit is suddenly taken from a cold to a warm location, or if ambient temperature suddenly rises, moisture may form on the outer surface of the unit and/or inside of the unit. This is known as condensation. If condensation occurs, turn off the unit and wait until the condensation clears before operating the unit. Operating the unit while condensation is present may damage the unit. M-B200-00_v009-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_94/96 Due to the characteristics of the material used in the OLED panel, permanent burn- in or reduction in brightness may occur. These problems are not a malfunction. M-C300-00_v007-000_5-047-398-01(1)_202209221137_GB_95/96 The life expectancy of the electrolytic capacitor is about 5 years under normal operating temperatures and normal usage (8 hours per day; 25 days per month). If usage exceeds the above normal usage frequency, the life expectancy may be reduced correspondingly. M-C341-00_v007-000_5-047-398
