Introduction

Customize your smart light bulb with a programmable white temperature (2700K–6500K) and millions of RGB colors. Steplessly dim your lights from warm to cool white. Through Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant, Siri Shortcut, and SmartThings, you can control your light using voice commands; Use an app to change the lighting’s hues, brightness, scenes, and timers. You can even remotely manage your lights while you’re away from home. Set up timers and routines to automate the lights in your smart home; MagicLight smart bulbs include dawn and sunset functionality and are incredibly simple to install (App: Magic Home or Surplife).

The MagicLight bulb can function as a Bluetooth light bulb if you don’t have Wi-Fi because you can choose between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during setup (no hub required, works with 2.4Ghz or dual band router, do not use with dimmers). Smart LED lights have a 9w low wattage, 80w equivalent high brightness, are environmentally friendly, and can consume up to 90% less energy than conventional light bulbs while costing less money.

INSTALL YOUR SMART LIGHT

Remove the bulb from its packaging and screw it into your light fixture. Then, turn it on.

CONNECT YOUR LIGHT

1. Turn on Bluetooth.
2. Run the newest App “Magic Home Pro” and Register/ Login your Magic Home account.
3. Click “+” button on top right corner and choose the bulb which you want to connect. (If can’t found, reset your bulb)
4. Connect device to Wi-Fi network. (Choose your router and login your password, ensure the router is 2.4GHZ)

RESTORE THE FACTORY SETTING

1. Power on the bulb.
2. Wait 3-5 seconds and then power off the bulb.
3. At the end of the 4th time when you turn on the bulb, it will emit strobe for a few seconds, after that it will become fully bright at which point the reset is complete. Once you have reset the bulb, you should be able to see its Wi-Fi IP “LEDnet**” again under your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings. (If not, please restart your Wi-Fi, wait for a while and you will see it).

SMART 2.4G REMOTE CONTROLLER

1. PAIR THE REMOTE CONTROL: After the lamp is powered on, press the power button for 5 seconds immediately (within 3 seconds). When the lamp flashes slowly for 3 times, it means the pairing is successful.

2. REMOVE THE REMOTE CONTROL: After the bulb is powered on, press the power button for 5 seconds immediately (within 3 seconds). When the bulb flashes for 3 times, it means the removing is successful.

3. ONE-TO-MANY CONTROL The remote control can be paired with multiple Wi-Fi bulbs at the same time, and multiple WIFI bulbs can be controlled with one key without limitation.

4. MANY-TO-ONE CONTROL A single WIFI bulb can be paired with multiple remote controls, and each remote control can control the same Wi-Fi bulb separately. ( a single bulb can support up to 16 remote controls)

HOW DO I CONNECT TO GOOGLE ASSISTANT?

STEP 1: CREATING YOUR MAGIC HOME CLOUD ACCOUNT.

In order to control your smart light with the Google Assistant or control them remotely, you need to create a Magic Home cloud account and signed in.

STEP 2: ADD YOUR LIGHT AND MODIFY THE NAME.

Make sure there’s at least one smart light in device list, and enabled your lights for remote control.

In the “Home” page, long press on the light you wish to rename.

STEP 3: ADD HOME CONTROL ACTION.

Add device in Home Control of the Home app. Select “Magic Home Wi-Fi”.

STEP 4: LOGIN WITH YOUR APP ACCOUNT.

Enter your app account and password to finish the account linking. (Using your Magic Home cloud account, you used in step 1 ). Your device should be listed in Home Control device list now.

STEP 5: CONTROL YOUR LIGHT.

At this point, you’re all setup. You can now control your lights by issuing voice commands.

STEP 3: ENABLE ALEXA SKILL.

The next step is to download the Amazon Alexa app. Open the Amazon Alexa app and under the skills section, search for the “Magic Home” skill.

STEP 4: LOGIN AND DISCOVER DEVICES.

Enable the skill and sign in using your Magic Home cloud account you used in step 1.

The next step is to discover your smart lights from the Alexa app. You can say “Alexa, discover devices” .

Once Alexa has completed discovering your smart lights, they will appear in the Smart Home section of the Alexa app.

STEP 5: CONTROL YOUR LIGHT.

At this point, you’re all setup. You can now control your lights by issuing voice commands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there better remote-control instructions than on the little 1” paper? A more extensive, in depth manual? Online link maybe?

If you go into the app settings you will see an FAQ section. Here you will find video tutorials and other resource guides.

Don’t have Alexa/voice/etc. & don’t want them. don’t want Bluetooth always on. will these work with Wi-Fi only not?

This can work both with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Compared with color light, I need adjustable white light more. Could you please tell me the color temperature range of white light?

I know one remote will operate all 4 bulbs, how do you get remote to operate each bulb without turning them all on?

They only pair with 4pack 1 remote.

Can all three bulbs turn on at the same time?

Yes of course. You can group or control each bulb individually.

Can the bulb work at 220V?

do you have to use the remote?

It can be controlled through the app or the remote.

When I’m traveling, can I use the app to remotely control my lights?

Yes, if they are connected to your Wi-Fi you can control your lights from anywhere in the world.

Do these bulbs work with Hao Deng App?

No, this Wi-Fi bulb works with Magic Home Pro app, our Bluetooth mesh bulb can work with Hao Deng App, search ASIN: B07XG4X1BR for it.

Can these lightbulbs be used outdoors?

I think it depends on how exposed to weather your lights would be. I put two of them in my outside garage carriage lights and used them all December to alternate red and green for Christmas. They worked great! But, being in the carriage light they weren’t exposed to rain or snow.

I don’t have Wi-Fi; can I use the app to control the light bulb?

In order to ensure successful operation, please reset the light bulb by turning off the light and turning on the light 4 times, then turn on the Bluetooth of your phone, open the “Magic Home Pro” App, click the + sign in the upper right corner to add the light bulb, and select Bluetooth mode at the bottom of the interface, so that after the setting is completed, the light bulb is connected via Bluetooth, and controlled via Bluetooth.

What are the dimensions of the remote and by chance is it magnetic?

The remote is about 1.5 x 3.5in big and about 1/4 of an inch thick. It is also not magnetic.

Is it possible to buy more remotes (e.g., one per bulb)?

We do not currently sell the remotes individually.

I am already connected via 2.4 Wi-Fi. I am already able to control bulbs. how to stop Bluetooth connection needed pop up every time?
