INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

BIOS Update Step:
Notice: This bio is only for Linux/Non-Windows OS

  1. Download and extract ΗAltos P130_F5 System BIOS (Version R01-A4 L).zipΗ into your external USB Storage.
  2. Power on the system and enter BIOS Setup Menu.
  3. Go to the security — > Secure Boot page, disable the “Secure Boot”Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-1
  4. Go to the Advanced page, and enable “CSM Support”.Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-2
  5. Advanced -> PCH-FW Configuration -> Fireware Update Configuration -> Me FW Image Re-Flash [Enabled], ME State [disable]Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-3
  6. Select Boot >>> Boot Option #1 [UEFI: Built-in EFI…]Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-4
  7. Press [F4], then select [Yes] and press [Enter].
  8. Waiting for system boot to embedded UEFI shell.
  9. Check the USB drive location. Change the path to the USB drive number, FSx:Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-5
  10. Type allows. nsh or altos. is to start updating BIOS.
  11. After the BIOS update, check the “process completed” message.Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-6
  12. If any error, please check BIOS Setting to repeat steps 3 through step 11 again.Altos-Computing-BIOS-Update-Step-for-Linux-and-Non-Windows-OS-fig-7
  13. Shut down the system and remove the power cord, wait for 30 seconds, then insert the power cord to power on the system. Check the system can power on normally.
