Product Usage Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Put the iPad case on and slide the keyboard switch to the On position.
- Hold down fn + del simultaneously until the Bluetooth indicator light blinks blue.
- On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth and select BT5.0 Keyboard under Other Devices.
- Click Pair to successfully connect.

Bluetooth Pairing

Put the iPad case on and slide the keyboard switch to the On position. Hold down “fn” + “del ”simultaneously and then the keyboard will enter pairing mode with a blinking blue Bluetooth indicator light.
On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth and then“BT5.0 Keyboard”will show up in “Other Devices”. -
Click the “BT5.0 Keyboard”, the iPad will pop up the connection window, click “Pair” to successfully connect.

Set Up Your iPad:
NOTE: For better user experience, please follow steps below to set up your iPad at first use once Bluetooth pairing is completed. -
Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and drag the slider to the middle of the tracking speed.

Go to Settings > General > Trackpad, turn on “Tap to Click” and “Two FingerSecondary Click”.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and turn off “Assistive Touch”.

Go to Settings > General > Gestures and enable the toggle for the ”Four & Five Finger Swipe” setting.

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off “Switch Languages using Caps Lock”.
Optional Setting Steps to disable the double tap period shortcut:
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and click the switch to turn off “.” Shortcut. -
Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems:

Step 1: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find “BT5.0 Keyboard” in My Devices and tap the info button next to it, then tap “Forget This Device”. If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them.

Step 2: Hold “fn” + “del simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the Bluetooth indicators will blink for3 times once the factory reset is completed.

Step 3: Pair your BT5.0 Keyboard with your iPad.

- Hold simultaneously to adjust the backlight color. 7 colors are available in total.
- Hold simultaneously toadjust the backlight brightness. 3 levels are at your choice.

LED Light Indicator

The indicator marked “A”
If the indicator “A” is steady on, the Caps are locked.
If the indicator “A” is off, the lock is off.
Press the “Caps lock” button for caps lock, and the light will be turn on.
Note: When you find that Caps Lock cannot be enabled, check that the Switch
Languages using Caps Lock feature is turned off on your iPad. -
The indicator marked “ ”
When the indicator color is red and blinks, it indicates that the keyboard battery is less than 20% and needs to be charged. -

If the indicator blinks, the Bluetooth is being paired.
If the indicator is off, the Bluetooth connection is successful or not.
Sleep Mode
- When BT5.0 Keyboard is left idle for 1 minutes, the backlight will turn off.
- When BT5.0 Keyboard left idle for 10 minutes,it will enter sleep mode and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted. The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.
- After the iPad Bluetooth is turned off or the keyboard Bluetooth is turned off, when turn on Bluetooth, then press any key to link.
Charging
When the battery level is under 20%, the battery indicator will blink in red. Please recharge the keyboard in time. The recommended charging voltage and current are 5V and 300mA respectively. To recharge the keyboard,you can connect the included USB cable to the charger of your cellphone other USB port of a computer. The keyboard will be fully charged in 3 hours. The indicator will stay in red when the keyboard is charging and turn off when it’s fully charged.

How to Remove the Keyboard Case?

Push the iPad out of the keyboard case from the camera position.
Note: In order to protect the iPad in all aspects, the case is designed to fit more closely to the iPad. So when children remove the case of iPad, please take it out with the help of adults. -
On the keyboard case right side, the thumbs of both hands push the sides of the keyboard case down from the front, and the index and middle fingers push the keyboard case up from the back. Push the iPad out of the keyboard case right side.

- The keyboard can be magnetically attached to the iPad case.
- Removable for use freely. Separate the keyboard from the iPad case.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the keyboard is not working correctly, please check the following:
- The Bluetooth function on the iPad (or other Bluetooth devices) is enabled;
- The Bluetooth keyboard is within 33 feet;
- The Bluetooth keyboard is charged;
- Make sure the keyboard is turned on;
- Press the key ‘Pair’ and check the Bluetooth status;
- Make sure a keyboard has already paired via Bluetooth.
CONNECTION PROBLEMS
If Bluetooth pairing fails, please try the following steps:
- Remove all Bluetooth devices on your iPad;
- Step 1: Go to Settings >Bluetooth, find “BT5.0 Keyboard” in My Devices and tap the info button next to it, then tap“Forget This Device”. If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them.

- Repeat the steps described in the manual to pair the keyboard.
