SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep the unit away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water and any other liquids.

  • Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use.

Description of Parts

Remote Control

Battery Installation

While using for the first time, remove the insulation tab from the battery compartment of the Remote Control.

Remote Control includes the battery (1 CR2025/32 Lithium battery); when battery is drained, replace battery as below:

  1. Remove the screw at the back.
  2. Pull the battery tray out of the battery compartment of Remote Control.
  3. Place new CR2025/32 button cell battery in the tray slot, as per the indicated polarity.
  4. Close the battery tray and secure back the screw.

⚠️ WARNING

This product contains a Button Cell Battery. A swallowed Button Cell Battery can cause internal chemical burns leading to death in as little as two hours. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. Do not mix with used or other types of batteries.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Charging the Speaker

For best results, fully charge the unit before use.

  1. Connect the Type‐C charging cable (included) to the DC 5V charging port of the speaker and insert the other end into a port on your computer or similar power source.
  2. Red LED turns on indicating that the battery is being charged. Once it is fully charged, the Red LED will turn off. It takes about 3 to 5 hours to fully charge the speaker.

Turn On/Off the Speaker

Slide the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH to ON position to turn on the unit with color changing LED lights, or OFF position to turn off the unit.

Pairing your device with the Speaker –

Your Wireless Speakercan stream audio from any Bluetooth enabled device within the range of up to 10 meters. Simply follow the below steps.

  1. Rotate the volume knob to your favorite sound level.
  2. Turn ON the speaker.
  3. LED display will show ‘HIFI’ and then ‘bLUE’ and indication tone would be heard. The speaker is now entering “pairing” mode.
  4. Turn on the Bluetooth on your Mobile Phone or Tablet or Computer.
  5. It will search for available Bluetooth devices.
  6. The Bluetooth Speaker would appear as “ SL PARAMOUNT ”, in the list of searched devices. Select it from the available list of devices.
  7. You might be prompted with “Pair with SL PARAMOUNT?” message on your source device, with “Cancel” and “OK” options. Please click “OK”.
  8. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm pairing.
  9. Once paired successfully, another indication tone would be heard.
  10. If you fail to pair it within a few seconds or you want to pair it with a new device, please repeat above steps.

Play your favorite song on the Bluetooth source device and music would now stream through the speaker.

Listening to Wireless Music

Please ensure that your device (iPhone, Tablet or Other Smart Phone) is paired with the speaker to stream wireless music. Once it is paired, play music from your device.

TWS pairing use (if you own 2 Wireless Paramount Speakers)

  • Make sure both Paramount speakers are “ON” and not paired with any Bluetooth device. An indication tonewould be heard from each speaker.
  • Choose either one as your master speaker.
  • Long press the TWS button on master unit.
  • Both units will wirelessly connect with each other, and you would hear an indication tone after they pair together successfully.
  • Activate the Bluetooth function on your source device (Mobile Phone, Tablet etc.). Please refer to manufacturer’s instructions for instructions on enabling Bluetooth on your device.
  • Search for available Bluetooth devices and you would find “ SL PARAMOUNT ” – Pair it with this device.
  • You might be prompted with “Pair with SL PARAMOUNT?” message on your source device, with “Cancel” and “OK” options. Please click “OK”.
  • If required, enter the password “0000” to pair with the device.
  • Once paired successfully, an indication tone would be heard.
  • You can now stream wireless music on your speaker through your source device.

Note : TWS stands for True Wireless. If you want to separate 2 speakers again for individual use, long press the TWS button on any one speaker.

Listening to Music using USB / Micro SD (TF) Card Slot

  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Insert USB flash drive into the USB slot or Micro SD (TF) card into the Micro SD (TF) card slot accordingly. An indication tone would be heard,LED display will show ‘USb’or‘Sd’ and then ‘USB’ or ‘TF’ with music would play automatically with LED display showing track number & then music time.
  3. Short press the NEXT TRACK/STATION button or PREVIOUS TRACK/STATION button to move forward or backward on your playlist.
  4. Short press PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button to Play or Pause a track.

Note :USB / Micro SD (TF) Card: Supports up to 16GB; Supports music file format: MP3, WAV. USB Flash Drive or Micro SD (TF) Card not included.

Listening to Music using AUX‐In
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Plug the 3.5 mm Aux‐in cable (included) into the AUX‐In port of the speaker, and the other end of the cable to the audio device (such as computer / tablet / MP3 Player etc.).
  3. Select your favorite song at the source device to play.
  4. Short press the MODE button each time until it reaches AUX mode with LED display showing ‘AUX’, you would hear the playing music from the source device.

( Note : While using AUX‐In function, except volume function, all functions such as playing next/previous track can be controlled only through your source device).

Listening FM radio
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Short press the MODE button each time until it reaches FM radio mode, LED display will show a FM radio frequency with sound.
  3. Short press the SCAN button for searching and recording all radio stations within frequency range 87.5‐108MHz.
  4. Short press the NEXT TRACK/STATION button or PREVIOUS TRACK/STATION button for listening next or previous already saved radio station.

Tips!!

  1. Short press the MODE button to switch different functions of the speaker. The functions are – Bluetooth / USB‐Micro SD (TF) / AUX / FM radio.
    (Note: This switching function cannot work in TWS pairing use.)

  2. When the speaker is not in use, turn OFF the device to save the battery power.

  3. Do not overcharge the speaker.

Color Changing LED lights
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Long press the “LIGHT” button to turn on/off the color changing LED lights.
Using the Microphone
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Insert the plug of the Microphone (included) into the MIC INPUT of the speaker.
  3. Turn on the Microphone, and speak for megaphone operation or sing for Karaoke operation.
  4. Rotate the MIC volume and echo knobs to adjust your favorite volume level with echo.
Do’s and Don’ts
  • Do not play music at excessive levels as damage to hearing and/or equipment may result.
  • Do not use outdoors in wet or in damp surroundings.

Care and maintenance

Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use chemicals or hard abrasives.
Keep this unit away from wet or damp surroundings.
