Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Ensure your system meets the hardware requirements for the
    ThinkSystem NVIDIA RTX 4500 Ada GPU.

  2. Power off your system and disconnect all cables.

  3. Select an available PCIe slot on your motherboard for
    installation.

  4. Carefully insert the GPU into the PCIe slot and secure it with
    screws if necessary.

  5. Connect the necessary power connectors from your power supply
    to the GPU.

  6. Reconnect all cables and power on your system.

  7. Install the latest drivers for optimal performance.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your GPU,
regularly clean the cooling fans and ensure proper airflow within
your system. Monitor temperatures and update drivers
periodically.

Auxiliary power cables
The RTX 4500 Ada GPU option part number does not ship with auxiliary power cables. Cables are serverspecific due to length requirements. For CTO orders, auxiliary power cables are derived by the configurator. For field upgrades, cables will need to be ordered separately as listed in the table below.

    One year limited warranty. When installed in a Lenovo server, the GPU assumes the server’s base warranty and any warranty upgrades.
