2. Device Connection
a) Using the network cable , connect one end to the network port of the
PN201S,and the other end to the router LAN port.
b) Using the power adapter , connect one and to the power port of the
PN201Sand the other end to the power socket. Default automatic startup.
Note: If the network is abnormal, re-plug the network cable or replace the network interface.
3. Client download and installation
Enter the address : https://www.idiskk.com/nas/PN201S/
4. Register account (IOS/Android APP)
a) Register using email or regular account. Regular account cannot retrieve
password, so it is recommended to register using email.
b) The password must be a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters +
numbers.
5. Administrator adds device (using mobile APP) (connect device as
shown below)
Note:
a. The mobile phone WIFI and PhotoNAS network are in the same LAN.
b. If the device cannot be searched, confirm whether the network connection
and device status are correct. If there is no problem, search the device
again.
c. After adding successfully, return to the main interface (wait 10~30S, the
system initializes the file system).
d. After adding successfully, you will be the administrator of the device.
Others cannot search and add directly. They need to be invited by the
administrator to share (see 11 for details).
e. Incorrect wiring and networking methods may result in the inability to
search for the device. After adding the device successfully, you can change
the connection method at will without affecting subsequent use.
6. File
a. Authorize computer login.
b. Transfer files between devices.
c. File management.
d. Device management, user management, folder permission management.

7. Photo

8. Back up mobile photos to PhotoNAS
One-click backup: Select all files and click the arrow ( ) to back up the mobile phone album to the personal directory of PhotoNAS; Incremental backup: Same as above steps, the APP will automatically back up only the newly added photos; Files that failed to be backed up: Repeat the above steps to back up.
Note: The backup process can be paused or canceled at any time, and the photos that have been backed up will not be backed up again next time; It takes a certain amount of time to open the software or just complete the backup, please wait patiently (pull down to manually refresh the interface).
9. Share photos backed up to PhotoNAS to a shared folder
Note: You can change the shared folder; It is best to create a new shared folder for each account to avoid confusion with everyone sharing the same folder;
10. View or download shared photos to the Downloads folder on your
phone
11. Invite users
Device Management → Shared Management → Enter the invited user name → The invited user accepts the invitation in Add Device → The invited user can see the newly added device on the main interface.
12. Add USB disk directory
Insert the USB drive → PhotoNAS displays the USB drive usage → Open the APP → Settings → Location → Edit (Administrator) → Add → U1 (USB disk name) → Select the path → USB (folder starting with ) → Done → Confirm → Confirm → Commit (must be submitted) → Return to the homepage
Note: After adding the USB disk directory, you need to insert the USB disk to open the USB disk corresponding to the USB disk interface.
13. Change administrator: The administrator deletes the device from
device management, and the new administrator takes over the administrator rights according to the process of adding devices
Note: The new administrator only takes over management rights for accounts and public folders.
14. Replace the hard disk (the file system of the new hard disk must be
Ext4 format)
a) Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, the red light on the side
flashes, wait for the system to restart and recover, unplug the device, remove
the back cover from the back of the NAS, press the hard drive and snap it out
(be careful not to press the hard drive surface area to prevent damage to the
hard drive), remove the shock pad and screws.
b) Use DiskGenius software to format the new hard drive to EXT4 format.
c) Install the screws and shock pads, and install it in the NAS.
d) Add the device again after the system automatically restarts.
15. Exceptions and handling
a) Network abnormality: Re-plug the network cable or replace the network cable
interface
b) System abnormality
i. Power off and restart
ii. Restore factory settings
Press and hold “reset” until the red light flashes, then release it. The
system will automatically restore to factory settings (reset account
information, retain hard disk data), log in again to add devices, and invite
users (the original personal folder permissions remain unchanged).
Note:
Every time you reopen the APP (the APP is offline for more than 5 minutes) and
re-access the NAS, it will be slow at first because the system needs to
confirm the account and administrator permissions and establish the best
network connection.
The best network environment is the local network with a maximum speed of
110MB/S, and the worst network is forwarding.

Note: The speed of uploading or downloading files is greatly affected by the
device and network environment. The local network is the fastest, the public
network is faster, and forwarding is the slowest.
