HOW SOLAR LIGHT WORKS

  • During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy into electricity stored in the rechargeable battery. At night, the light automatically turns on using the stored energy.
  • The duration of illumination depends on your geographical location, weather conditions, and seasonal light availability.

CHOOSING AN IDEAL LOCATION

  • Select an outdoor location with full, direct sunlight where the solar panel can receive at least 6 hours of sunshine each day. Shady locations will reduce the battery’s ability to charge fully, shortening the nighttime illumination period.
  • The chosen location should not be near strong light sources such as street lights, which may cause the light to turn off automatically due to the built-in brightness sensor.
  • Solar light is ideal for night lighting of gardens, lawns, etc. You can also place the solar light outdoors during the day and bring it indoors for illumination at night.

ATTENTION FOR FIRST-TIME USE

  • There is a button in the battery box. Please press it to the “ON” position to activate the automatic system. When it gets dark, the solar light will turn on automatically.
  • During the day, it will turn off and store energy from the solar panel. Press the button again to turn off the light and conserve energy.

If the light does not turn on automatically at night after 6 hours of daytime charging, please check the following:

  1. Ensure the power switch is in the “ON” position.
  2. Check the battery to ensure it is securely connected to the terminals.
  3. Make sure the light is in a sunny location and not in a shaded area. The solar panel should face the sun.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. The light is designed to work when it is dark. If there are no strong light sources nearby, the LED light may be very dim or not work at all.
  2. Although the battery is charged by the manufacturer, its charge level may have decreased during shipping. Please charge it for a full day to achieve maximum performance.
  3. Keep the surface of the solar panel clean. Dust can reduce the charging efficiency.

REPLACE BATTERIES

If the light stops working after extended use (approximately over 18 months), the battery may have exceeded its lifespan. Open the battery cover to replace it with a new rechargeable battery.

REMARKS

The lifetime of the LED lamp is over 100,000 hours. You never need to replace it.
