Buttons and Instructions for Use

keyboard description

  • AC: Power on, or clear all numbers in the register

  • OFF:Turn off the calculator screen

  • C/CE:Press the corresponding number key, if you press the wrong number, you can use the (CE) key to erase the value once, and then re-enter the positive

  • +/-:Positive and negative key, change the number in the LCD screen from positive to negative, from negative to positive

  • MU: Press that key to complete the calculation of interest rate or tax rate Press “a+b Mu” to execute “100 X (A+B)-i-B”
    Press “A-B Mu” to execute “100 X (A-B)-i-B”
    Press “a x B Mu “, execute” a x (1 +B-i-100)”
    Press “a -;- B Mu” to execute “a -;- (1-B -;- 100)”

  • :Backspace button clear the last digit of the number displayed on the LCD screen

  • GT:press this button to transfer the contents of GT storage register to display register, press AC or C button to eliminate GT display mark

  • MRC:The first press of this key will recall the memory contents, and the second press will clear the memory contents

  • M-:Subtracts currently displayed value from memory contents; interrupts digital input

  • M+:Adds currently displayed value to memory; interrupts digital input

  • /””:Display the square root of a positive number input

  • %:Percentage

  • +,-,x,-;-, =:Operation button, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc

  • 0~9, 00:number buttons, enter the numbers 0-9 or add 00 to the end of the number

  • .:Radix point “.”: press the “.” key to input radix point, so the subsequent numbers to be input are the tenths, hundredths , etc

Decimal Rounding Instructions

  • t (UP) :Unconditional carrying key
  • 5/4: Half adjusting key(omitting decimal fractions smaller than 0.5 and counting all others, including 0.5, as 1)
  • (CUT): Unconditional cut key
  • The above three keys must be compatible with the decimal point setting of numbers. For example, 0. 896 +0.56 1=1.457, when the setting of decimal digits is 2, “1.45” is got by pressing the “C UT” key; “1.46” is got by pressing the “UP” key; and “1.46” is also got by pressing the “5/4” key.

Decimal Digits Selection

  • F: a floating decimal (infinite decimal)
  • 4320: four, three or two digits or zero digit after the decimal point. That is, “4” means that only 4 decimal places are left; ” 3 “means that only 3 decimal places are left;” 2 “means that only 2 decimal places are left; and “0 “means that no decimal place is left
  • A (ADD2): when the “ft’ is set, that means decimal digits of numbers are automatically set to 2 (provided that the operation symbol”+” or”-” must be used). But if the symbol “X” is used, it doesn’t automatically generate 2 decimal digits. For example, during the “3+5” input, if you input “3” first, and then press”+”, so “0.03” is displayed, then input “5”, so the result is “0.08”. If “3 x 5” is input, the “0.03” will not be shown

Error Cases

    • The maximum number of digits input on the screen is 12. The mark “ERROR” will be displayed at the top of the number if it exceeds 12 digits

Error detection

  • a) lnput error: the number input consecutively exceeds a 12-digit integer or 11-digit decimal
  • b) Rough estimation error 1: the any result number of digits of the four arithmetic operations is more than a 12-digit integer
  • c) Rough estimation error 2: the result number of digits of a “Memory” operation or “GT” operation exceeds a 12-digit integer
  • d) System error 1: divide by 0
  • e) System error 2: the square root of a negative number

Error Indication

  • a) lnput error: the first input 12-digit integer or 11-digit decimal and an error flag “E” are displayed
  • b) Rough estimation error 1 and 2: a 12-digit rough estimation result and an error flag “E” are shown
  • c) System error 1: “0” and the error mark “E” are on the screen
  • d) System error 2: the result of square root of absolute value of a negative number, along with an error flag “E”, is displayed

Error Elimination

  • a) lnput error: press “AC “, “C/CE” key
  • b) Rough estimation error 1: press “AC”, “C/CE” key
  • c) Rough estimation error 2: press “AC”, “C/CE” key
  • d) System error 1 and 2: press “AC”, “C/CE” key

Calculation Example

Arithmetic

Use of tax calculation method Mu

Example 1: 200= Excluding tax value 25%= Tax

Ask: Taxes=? plus tax value=?

Price calculation method MU uses

Multiplication AX B MU is equivalent to A+(A+B%)

Example 1: Given the amount and growth rate of this year, find the expected amount for next year. If the annual sales revenue is 100, and the expected growth rate is 2.5%, find the number for next year.100 X 2.5 MU The result is 102.5
Example 2: Calculate the value-added tax, and calculate the tax-included price from the tax-excluded price. If the sales income without tax is 3,500 yuan, the sales income including tax is calculated, and the tax rate is assumed to be 13%. 3500 X 13 MU The result is 3955
Subtraction A-B MU is equivalent to a percentage of (A-B)/B
Example: Know the growth rate of current year’s income and last year’s income. For example, 3000 this year and 2800 last year, calculate the growth rate. 3000-2800 MU, the result is 7.142857 and the result is a percentage
Division A + B Mu is equivalent to A/ (1-8%}
Example 1: the cost is 120, the sales profit rate is 25%, and the sales revenue is calculated.

1207 25 mu results 160

(at the same time, this is not the cost profit rate. The cost profit rate formula is ax (l+b%))

Example 2: Calculate the taxable price of the consump tion tax, and calculate the tax-included price from the tax-excluded price.1200730 MU The result is 1714.28571428
