After confirming that the Smart Pen has been turned on and the indicator light
is flashing rapidly, open the “NEWYES NOTE” app and make sure to enable
Bluetooth on your mobile phone. (For Android users, please turn on Bluetooth
while also enabling mobile location). After logging in to the app, click to
select Smart Pen to enter the Smart Pen interface. Follow the interface
prompts to enter the “Select Connection” interface, check the MAC number at
the end of your pen, and connect it. What you need to pay attention to is that
it may pop up a window for application permissions. At this time, please click
“Allow” to ensure the normal use of the Smart Pen. After the connection is
successful, you can write normally.
After successfully connecting to your NEWYES Smart Pen, go back to the home
page of the app, click the “Me” button in the lower right corner to enter the
corresponding interface, click “My Smart Pen” on the interface, and you can
see the MAC number corresponding to the Smart Pen you have connected. Upon

and no other account will be able to use your Smart Pen.
Creation and modification of notebooks

The written content will be directly synchronized with the mobile app, automatically creating an editable electronic note. You can modify or supplement the content in the notebook directly on the corresponding page. The Smart Pen will accurately sync with the page and the app can be modified and supplemented accordingly. On the Smart Pen page, there is a button to create a new notebook. Clicking on this allows you to create a new notebook. Long press the created notebook to rename, delete, save PDF, and archive notes.
Synchronization of offline notes
The NEWYES SyncPen3 supports offline writing. What you write when you are not connected will be stored in the pen. But please make sure that your Smart Pen is turned on and the LED at the end of the pen flashes blue (once every 2s). When you connect the Smart Pen again, a prompt to synchronize offline notes will appear on the note list page. Click to synchronize and save the offline notes as new notes.
Synchronization and Recognition of Notes
On note page, click the “…” icon in the upper right corner of the page to
perform text recognition, handwriting playback, note creation, change time,
note sharing function, and delete notes on the page.
The handwriting recognition function of NEWYES NOTE can convert your
handwriting to text. You can then copy the text for subsequent editing and
sharing. The video playback function replays your writing process. You can
switch the playback rate, save it as a ios short video, ordinary video, or
share it to WeChat, Moments, etc. With the note sharing function, you can
share the content of your notes via social media platforms like Facebook,
WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, and also Email. In addition, the content of the
notes can be saved as a picture, PDF or Word document. On the writing
synchronization page, click the middle file name box “NEWYES NOTE” to define
the label of the note content on this page. After entering the label
definition interface, you can select the existing label content or re-enter a
new custom label. This makes it convenient to search and manage notes later.
When you need to search for the content of the tagged tag notes after entering
the Smart Pen proprietary interface, click the search button next to the upper
right corner, then click the tag of the content to be searched, and the
corresponding note content will be displayed.
On the writing synchronization page, click the exit icon in the upper left
corner to exit to the corresponding notebook page. After long pressing the
content of a page of the note, you can enter the multi-page note page, to
merge and share multiple pages of notes, single page share, or delete the
selected page.
Other Functions of Note Writing Synchronization
When you are in the process of note writing synchronization, you can click the
recording function on the notebook page, and the app will synchronously record
the audio information of your writing process. After the recording is
finished, click to end the recording, and the creation process will be saved
to your phone.
Also, during note writing synchronization, you can change the thickness and
color of the handwriting synchronized on the app page according to your own
preferences. You can also edit and modify the shading format of the page and
insert a background picture. In addition, you can also edit and modify the
page background, and delete part or the entire note page.
Electronic Dot Matrix LCD Writing Pad
There are two types of NEWYES SyncPen3 writing carriers. One is a dot matrix
paper notebook, and the other is an electronic dot matrix writing board.
The NEWYES sales package set is divided into a Dot Matrix Notebook set and an
Electronic Dot Matrix LCD Writing Tablet set. The model AB1011-S Electronic
Dot Matrix Tablet has a screen size of 10 inches that can be repeatedly erased
and written on more than 50,000 times.
Please purchase the NEWYES SyncPen3 Smart Pen set only from the official
NEWYES website at www.newyes.com. The electronic
writing board of the same style sold through other channels is an ordinary
handwriting board that will not work with the NEWYES SyncPen3 Smart Pen.
Please contact the retailer before purchasing.
The following section illustrates how to use the Electronic Dot Matrix Pad with the SyncPen3 Smart Pen. Before use, please swap out the ink refill used for writing on the Dot Matrix notebook with a plastic refill. If your fingers are wet or slippery, you may not be able to pull out the refill directly with your hands. Use dry hands or other tools such as tweezers or pliers to pull out the refill and then insert the white plastic refill specifically made for the LCD Pad. The Electronic Dot Matrix Writing Pad uses a CR2016 button battery. The estimated service life of a single battery is more than 1 year. On the drawing tablet, you will find a “Clear” button that erases all the content on the screen. There is also an option to lock the pad, located on the back of the pad. For precaution, when the lock key is enabled, pressing the clear button does not clear the screen, thus preventing accidental deletions.
Attention:
The function keys under the screen of the Electronic Dot Matrix Writing Pad
are only to control the corresponding function keys on the app, and cannot
change the state of the content written on the writing board.
As an exception, the first button works both when the app is connected and
offline. Other button functions can be used only when connected to the app.
