Quick Start Guide
Install Battery and Battery
Cover Install the battery after removing the device and battery from the
package, then gently press the battery cover.
First-Time Use
A quick tip will pop up and guide you through the product when you power on
the device or open applications for the first time.
Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button in the off state until the device vibrates to
turn on device. Press and hold the power button in on state until the device
pops up a dialog, then tap “Power Off”.
Install SIM Card
Pull out the card tray gently from the SIM card tray slot and insert the Nano
SIM or memory card in the correct orientation.
Charging the Device
Charging the device via USB cable: Connect the device to an electrical outlet
using USB cable and power adapter or connect the device to a PC using USB
cable. Device charging indicator shows red light indicating the battery is
charging. It shows green light indicating the battery is fully charged
Note: If the device is idle for long periods of time, please charge the
device every two months to ensure that stand-by power source is not over
discharged.
Common Functions
- Connecting to PC Connect your device to PC using USB cable or cradle charger.
Barcode Scanning
- You can use our built-in HScan application or your independent scanning application to scan barcode. Common Faults: Please check whether the scanning function is off if no light come out of the scan engine when you press the scan button.
Wireless Network Connection
- Press “Settings” in the main screen.
- Tap “Wi-Fi” Switch in the Network & Internet to open WLAN connection. The device will search and list aviliable WLAN connections
- Tap the WLAN connection you want to connect. If you choose an encrypted WLAN, you have to enter password to access it.
|Note: If you enable both WLAN and mobile network at the same time, your device will automatically use the WLAN connection. Once WLAN connection is lost, your device will automatically switch over to mobile network if it is aviliable.
Cautions
- To avoid unnecessary injury, please read this manual before using the device to ensure correct and safe use.
- Please do not take up all the storage space, otherwise it may cause system error.
- Please turn off the scanner when scanning function is not in use. Please do not keep it open for long period of time
- Please do not look directly at the laser while scanning to avoid accidental injury.
- Please use accessories that are approved by us and compatible with this model. Use of adapters, chargers or batteries not approved by us may result in fire, explosion or other hazards.
- Please use the device at the specified operating temperature. It may cause a malfunction to the device, when the ambient temperature is too high or too low.
- Please do not disassemble the product or its accessories by yourself. If the device or any of its parts cannot work normally, please consult our after-sales service.
- If the battery has abnormal phenomena such as odor, heat, discoloration, deformation, or leakage during use or storage, please remove the battery from the charger or device immediately and stop using it.
- Batteries are inflammable and explosive items. Batteries are forbidden to disassemble, squeeze, impact or to be placed in a high temperature environment.
- Disposal of used batteries is subject to local documents or policies.
