Product Usage Instructions

Installing Batteries:

Insert the two AAA 1.5V batteries into the battery compartment located on the base plate. Pay attention to the polarity marking.

Setting Up the Scale:

Ensure the scale is positioned upright and level.

Switching Weight Units:

To switch between kg and lb weight units, press the ‘mode’ button located on the underside of the scale when it is turned on.

Weighing Objects:

After turning on the scale with the ‘TARE ON/OFF’ button, wait for the display to show zero. Place the object to be weighed on the weighing platform to determine its weight.

Additional Weight (Tare Function):

Press the ‘TARE ON/OFF’ button to reset the scale to zero with a pre-added weight. You can then add extra weight and read the net weight displayed.

Turning Off:

To turn off the scale, press and hold the ‘TARE ON/OFF’ button. The scale will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of no weight changes.

Operating Instructions

Battery

Two 1,5 volt AAA batteries are included. Insert batteries into the battery compartment in the manner indicated on the base plate. Please note the polarity marking.

Position of Scales

Please ensure that the scales is positioned in an upright position.

Weighing (TARE ON/OFF)

Turn on by pressing the „TARE ON/OFF“ – key. First, all segments appear in the display. Wait until the zero appears and then place the weight on the scales and read the measure.

Weigh On (TARE ON/OFF)

Place an empty container on the scales (1. weighing) and press the „TARE ON/OFF“ – key (wait a short time) until the scales show „0”. Fill the container (2nd weighing). Only the add-on weight is shown.

Turn Off (TARE ON/OFF )

Hold down the „TARE ON/OFF“ – key. Automatic switch-off for both loaded and unloaded scales after 3 minutes, if no weight change occurs during this time.

Switching from or to kg, lb ( MODE)

The scales can show the weight in „kg“ or „lb“. The switching from one measure to the other is possible when the scales are turned on via the „mode“-key on the underside of the scales.

User Calibration

In case necessary the scales can be recalibrated. Turn on the scales and set to „kg”. „mode“-key should be pressed four times after each other and then held. A numerical value appears. „mode“-key should be pressed again and the scales should be placed on a horizontal and stable surface. First a numerical value appears and then „0000“. Now place the calibration weight (10kg for the 25kg-scales, 25kg for the 50kg-scales or 50kg for the 100kg-scales) on the scales. A numerical value appears fi rst and then „CAL1“ and then another numerical value. Now place the second calibration weight (20kg for the 25kg- scales, 50kg for the 50kg-scales or 100kg for the 100kg-scales) on the scales. A numerical value appears and then „CAL2“ and then 20 +/-0,1kg for the 25kg- scales, 50 +/-0,2kg for the 50kg-scales or 100 +/-0,4kg for the 100kg-scales. The scales is now calibrated. Important: The scales should not be subjected to vibration or draughts!

Explanation of the Special Signs

  1. Turn On
    After pressing the „TARE ON/OFF“– key all symbols appear. You can check that all segments are shown. The zero shows that the scales is now ready for weighing.

  2. Negative Weight Display
    Press the „TARE ON/OFF“– key again.

  3. Overload
    When the weight placed on the scales is heavier that the max. weight of the scales „FULL“ appears in the display.

  4. Power Supply
    If this sign appears, the battery needs to be changed.

Note: Extreme electromagnetic influences e.g. radio unit in the immediate vicinity may affect the displayed values. Once the interference has stopped, the product can once again be used normally. The scales is not legal for trade.

Precision

This device corresponds to requirements stipulated in 2014/31/EU. Every scale has been carefully calibrated and controlled during the production process. The tolerance is ± 0,5% ± 1 digit (at Temperatures between +5° and +35° C). Incorrect display values due to damage attributable to improper handling, mechanical damage or malfunction is exempt from liability. Damages due to faults are also exempt from the guarantee. No liability is accepted for consequential damages or losses by the buyer or the user.
