About Us

Manwalk was founded by a duo of shoe aficionados in the US State of Washington in 2018. Since then, we’ve been crafting some of the finest shoes known to man. From the US to Australia, and now India, we’re proud to besharing our passion with the world.

We are the embodiment of refined dressing for the modern-day professional. Our shoes are crafted using only the finest semi-veg-tanned full-grain bovine crust leather, and our meticulous process is as old-school as it gets. Our shoes ensure that you look sharp and elegant, from the courtroom to the boardroom and everywhere in between.

Our Difference

Crafted by hand, using techniques passed down through generations, our shoes are a work of art that you can wear.

Get ready to step up your shoe game!

Manwalk shoes are meticulously made from premium box calf, vitello calf, and crust leather obtained from top European tanneries. Specifically, the leathers for our Patina shoes are sourced from the prestigious Conceria Tolio tannery in Italy. In addition, we also create shoes using calf suede and exquisite sartorial fabrics.

Full-grain leather is the creme de la creme, the top dog, the bee’s knees of leather. Our leather shoes are painstakingly crafted with premium full- grain leather, which develops a unique character over time, making each pair as unique as the man who wears them.
Invest in a pair of shoes that are not only durable but also comfortable. The break-in period for full-grain leather shoes may be longer, but trust us, it’s worth it.

Top grain leather is a close second to the king of leathers, full grain. Top-grain leather is made by taking the top layer of the hide and sanding it down. It’s a little less durable than full grain, but still way better than the imposter, Genuine leather. Though top-grain leather is the second best, we still stick to the king: the full grain.

Genuine leather may sound impressive, but it’s actually the lowest quality of the bunch. Made from the leftovers and treated with artificial finishes, its durability is questionable at best. You deserve better than that.

Our soles are like a firm handshake-confident and reliable.
Crafted from quality imported leather, each pair is Goodyear welted with precision to ensure a comfortable fit. Since we understand the importance of balance, we’ve added a rubber top lift to keep you grounded.

A shoe that’s both practical and stylish? We’ve got you covered.

Our stacked leather heels are the epitome of craftsmanship. Built layer by layer in the traditional way from multiple pieces of leather, they’re a mark of quality that sets our shoes apart from the rest. Featuring a top lift made of a part rubber material to ensure a non-slip grip, these heels are as practical as they are stylish. Only the finest shoe manufacturers use stacked leather heels as they’re a true mark of quality and a testament to our dedication to craftsmanship.

The crust leather uppers are hand-painted in patina style, using quality dyes, by highly skilled patina artists. The Patina technique is a time-intensive process of dyeing the leather by hand strokes, resulting in a unique pair of shoes.

Taking care of your prized possession

Taking care of leather shoes is like taking care of your car – it takes a little effort, but it’s worth it to keep them looking sharp and feeling comfortable. Here are some tips for making your shoes last longer and look great every time you wear them.
Remember, a gentleman always uses a shoehorn when putting on his shoes. It’s the little things that make all the difference.

Don’t wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row. Give your pair a break and let them breathe. Your shoes will live longer.
Caring for your shoes is like caring for your body : Treat them well by using a shoe tree and they will last you a lifetime. It will keep your shoes in impeccable shape. A small investment that goes a long way.

Manwalk shoes are crafted using premium full-grain crust leather, which means they’re not only breathable but also more receptive to shoe polishes. It’s important to note that for the same reasons, these leathers are also sensitive to chemicals like acetone, hand sanitizer and even certain gravies. So, while spills will happen, we recommend wiping them off ASAP to avoid any potential staining. Also, the better nourished and polished the shoe uppers are the lesser chance of them being overpowered by stains.

Your shoes deserve to be treated well. Cleaning the shoe uppers regularly with a horse-hair brush or cloth, and the soles and sole edges with a brush meant for the job will keep them looking handsome.
Gentlemen, a quick lesson on shoe care: Don’t let your leather babies dry out. Give them a little love with a good conditioner to keep them looking sharp. When it’s time for a polish, remember to apply in small, circular motions with a soft cloth. Finish with a quick buff and you’re ready to take on the world.

Polish your dress shoes with a color lighter than its hue. This helps maintain the original color and patina and keeps your stride shining like new. If buying too many color polishes is not your thing, then ‘Saphir Creme 7925 Neutral’ might be your best friend. Being a neutral color cream, it doesn’t discriminate between different colors and showers love on all the leather babies equally.

For the dapper gent who appreciates the finer things in life, we recommend shoe polishes and creams from ‘Saphir’ and ‘Boot Black’. Their high-quality products will keep your shoes in top-notch condition.

If you are a fan of the parade shine and mirror gloss then apply waxes only in thin layers to avoid the pesky cracks to the newly built wax layers. Good buffing with a soft cloth after each layer of wax works wonders. Even better if the wax layers are limited only to the toe box area; as it is the flex points that are more prone to wax cracking. Gents, don’t take us wrong, we are talking about the cracks to the wax here, not the leather. In the unlikely event that you find yourself with some cracked wax on your shoes, don’t fret. Simply use a wax stripper (we love ‘Saphir Renovateur’) to clear it out. Follow up with a good leather moisturiser and you’ll be back to looking sharp in no time. Don’t have time for this? Then simply get your hands on ‘Saphir Pate De Luxe’ (comes in 73 colors) as it high shines without forming wax cracks.

Taking care of Suede/ Snuff suede is a different ball game. If there are any stains on the suede leather, then a suede eraser such as ‘Saphir Gommadin’ will do the job. Suede leathers enjoy occasional wash with a suede shampoo
(such as ‘Saphir Omninettoyant’). Suede likes a good clean with a horse hair brush (not with a brush that has been used for polishing) and then a suede brush in the direction of the nap to restore it. Light steam freshens up the suede. If need be, a natural suede spray in a matching color (preferably one with a built-in waterproofing agent) will renew the color, but don’t forget to brush it again after the sprayed-on color dries off. Suede doesn’t like the company of Silicon and nanotechnology-based sprays, so keep them apart. When it comes to spectator shoes that are made of both suede and leather, we’re all about keeping the lines clean. To avoid any unwanted color transfer, try masking the suede with painter’s tape before polishing the leather.

When it’s time to color your suede, take care not to get too wild with the spray and spray across the border.

Renew the outsole and heel edges to their former glory with an edge dressing and matching shoe wax crayon.
Our parting advice is to keep those babies dry! If they do happen to get wet, don’t punish them in front of the heater. Instead, tuck them in with shoe trees and let them cool off in a dry place.
