Product Usage Instructions
- Charging the Pen
- Ensure the product is fully charged before use.
- Pen Orientation
- Make sure the pen tip is facing upward when you hold the pen.
- Recognition Angle
- The product’s acceptable recognition angle is -20~ +40. Ensure you hold the pen within this range for accurate recognition.
- Replacing Pen Tip
- To replace the pen tip, insert it horizontally into the pen tip removal groove located on the upper part of the pen clip and pull it out.
- App Connection
- Enable the device’s Bluetooth and GPS before opening the app. Open the app, allow necessary permissions, and follow on-screen instructions to connect the app to the pen. The LED will turn green when connected.

- What should I do if my handwriting is not recognized?
- Ensure you are holding the pen correctly within the acceptable recognition angle. Check that the pen tip is facing upwards and held at the right angle.
- How long does the battery last?
- The pen offers a usage time of up to 14 hours, with 9 hours of continuous use. Ensure to charge it fully before use for optimal performance.

Get started
- Charge the pen
- Ensure the product is fully charged before use.
- Turn the pen on/off
- When the pen is fully charged, briefly press the Power button.
- The pen will be turned on, as indicated by the LED.
- To turn the pen off, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds or longer.
- The LED will flash in different colors before the pen is turned off.
- The pen will be automatically turned off after 20 minutes of inactivity. (You can adjust the automatic power-off time in the NEO STUDIO app.)
- In case the pen ⓐ is not turning on, ⓑ is not charged, or ⓒ does not work, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset the pen.
How to use
- The location of the optical sensor greatly affects recognition accuracy.
- Please note that your handwriting may not be recognized if you hold or use the pen at an incorrect angle or in the wrong direction.
How to hold the pen correctly
- Make sure the pen tip is facing upward when you hold the pen.
Allowable Recognition Angle
- The product’s acceptable recognition angle is -20~ + 40. (90 vertical standards).
- You can freely take notes with just the pen without connecting to the app.
- Once connected to the app, the data can be automatically transmitted.
How to replace the pen tip easily
- When you insert the pen tip horizontally into the pen tip removal groove located on the upper part of the pen clip and pull it, it will come off easily.
Precautions
- This product has a built-in optical sensor. The recognition may not work correctly in direct sunlight, outdoors, or under infrared light.
- Ensure the optical sensor is not blocked.
- A strong impact on the pen tip may cause damage to the pressure sensor.
- Leaving the product in places with a strong magnetic field, high temperature, or under direct sunlight for a long period may cause severe damage to the product.
- When not in use, close the pen cap.
- Lightly remove any dust or dirt from the input sensor with a cotton swab.
- Disassembling and reassembling the product will lead to product malfunction.
- In such cases, the warranty period will be void.
- You must use the recommended pen tip that is compatible with the product. NeoLab Convergence is not responsible for any malfunction caused by noncompliance with this instruction.
- Parental supervision is required when children use this product.
