INTRODUCTION
Refer to the HydroCoil™ Embolic System and MicroPlex™ Coil System Instructions for Use for instructions regarding use of the V-Grip™ detachment controller with the V-Trak™ delivery pusher.

INTENDED PURPOSE
The V-Grip Detachment Controller is intended for use with the HydroCoil Embolic System and MicroPlex Coil System only. It should be used to detach the HydroCoil Embolic Coils and MicroPlex Coils as described in the HydroCoil Embolic System and MicroPlex Coil System IFU’s.
PRECAUTIONS
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- Do NOT use in conjunction with radio frequency (RF) devices. Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect Medical Electrical Equipment.
- Do not use the V-Grip Controller adjacent to or stacked with other equipment because it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, V-Grip Detachment Controller and the other equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
- Maintain a distance of at least 30 cm (12 inches) between the V-Grip Detachment Controller and Portable RF communications equipment.
- If the V-Grip Detachment Controller is re-used on another patient it can lead to the risk of patient infection.
SPECIFICATIONS And EMC COMPLIANCE
- The V-Grip Detachment Controller is a single-use Type BF Applied Part.
- Do not operate the V-Grip Detachment Controller in an environment with temperature exceeding 40 °C or relative humidity exceeding 75%.
- The V-Grip Detachment Controller has been designed to meet the EMC requirements of EU and FDA. Compliance was demonstrated by meeting the following test limits of IEC 60601-1-2.

The V-Grip Detachment Controller is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. The user should ensure that it is used in such an environment.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE
Store at a controlled room temperature in a dry place. Keep away from
sunlight.
Do not ship and store in an environment with temperature exceeding 60 °C or
relative humidity exceeding 75%.
Visually inspect all the sterile barrier systems, that are labeled as sterile,
immediately prior to use. Do not use if breaches in sterile barrier system
integrity are evident, such as pouch is damaged, open.
After use, dispose the V-Grip Detachment Controller in accordance with
hospital, administrative and/or local government policy and in accordance with
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
- This V-Grip Detachment Controller has battery removal and disposal capability. Using a flathead screwdriver or similar tool, push down on the battery cover tab to open the housing and remove the battery. Dispose of the battery in a manner consistent with hospital, administrative and/or local regulations.
- Dispose of the V-Grip detachment controller housing in accordance with hospital, administrative and/or local regulations.

The V-Grip Detachment Controller is MR Unsafe.
