Upgrade Guide

Select [Tool Information] on the device and note down the Serial Number and Register Code.
Disconnect the tool from the computer. Do not connect the data cable to the host computer running the update tool.
Visit https://www.anceltech.com, download the FX2000 update tool, install, and run it.
Enter the Serial Number, click [Device Upgrade], input required information, and click [Submit].
Install the memory card from the tool into the supplied card reader, insert it into a USB port of the computer.
Select desired updates manually or click [Select All], then click [Download] to start downloading.
After download completion, reinsert the memory card into the tool, power it by connecting the data cable to the computer for automatic upgrading.

Q: Can I use any memory card for updating the tool?
A: No, you should use the memory card provided with the tool for updating purposes to ensure compatibility.

ANCEL FX2000 Upgrade Guide

A software update is required if you encounter the following problems:

The tool fails to work on your car.
It is slow to load all menus.
You need newer software version.

The tool can be updated only via the memory card.
Follow the steps below to proceed the update:

Note: Please prepare a computer with Windows 7/ Windows 8/ Windows 10 installed and make sure it is successfully connected to the Internet. Moreover, a memory card reader is also needed.

Connect the tool to the computer via the supplied data cable.
After the tool is powered on, place cursor on the Help icon and press the [OK] button. (Figure 7-1)
Select [Tool Information], press [OK]. (Figure 7-2)
Note down the Serial Number (also can be found from the back of the tool) and Register Code in the following figure, which are necessary for later registration.
Disconnect the tool from the computer.
Note: Do not connect the data cable to the host computer that is running the update tool, which will cause the program to not respond.
Open the computer browser and visit https://www.anceltech.com Click “Download” to download the “FX2000” update tool.
Install the update tool and then run it. The following window will pop up on the screen.
Enter the Serial Number and click [Device Upgrade] to enter the following screen. Input the required information and click [Submit]. (Figure 7-5)
Install the memory card from the tool into the supplied card reader and insert into USB port of the computer.
Reopen the update tool. Select the desired updates manually or click [Select All], and then click [Download] to start downloading. (Figure 7-6)
After the download is complete, reinsert the memory card into the tool and power the tool by connecting the data cable to the computer. The tool will automatically start upgrading.
