Before you begin
If you got your Fetch box from an internet provider:
Your Fetch provider will have sent you an email and/or SMS with your
Activation Code or Instructions. You’ll need to refer to this during Setup
(Step 6).
Please contact your Fetch provider if you don’t have your code or
instructions.
If you bought your Fetch box from a retailer, or directly from Fetch:
Go to fetch.com.au/activate to get your
Activation Code.
You’ll need to enter this during Setup (Step 6).
If you already have another Fetch box and account, go to
fetch.com.au/account to add this box to your
existing account.
Telstra Plus points are not accessible via Fetch direct accounts.
What’s in the box
Important tips
- Place your Mini on a level surface, and don’t stack it on anything that generates heat.
- Leave 5cm of space around the Mini for airflow.
- Don’t try to open the box – it’s dangerous and will void the warranty.
- Use only lOOV – 240V 50 Hz AC power source, and only use the power supply provided.
- Keep liquid, children and pets away from your Mini at all times.
Remote
You will be prompted to pair and set up your remote when you first set up your
Mini. Alternatively, you can set it up
at Menu > Remote Control.
Tip
- Press 123 to turn function buttons into numbers.
- For voice control hold down and speak into the top of the remote.
TV Antenna
Connect your TV antenna cable to the back of your Mini.
Plug the other end into your Free-to-Air TV antenna wall socket.
HDMI
Connect the provided HDMI cable to the back of your Mini. Plug the other
end into an available HDMI port on your TV. Remember the HDMI port number.
Internet
Option 1: Wired Connection
Connect the ethernet cable to your Mini. Plug the other end into your modem
(or network socket).
Option 2: Wi-Fi Connection
If you prefer to connect using Wi-Fi, skip this step for now. You’ll be asked
to enter your Wi-Fi details later, during Setup.
Power
Connect the provided power cable to the back of your Mini.
Plug the other end into the wall socket and turn on.
TV Input
Use the source button on your TV remote to select the correct HDMI port
(from Step 2).
Tip The source button can look different on different TVs. Here are some examples.
Setup
You’re ready to go. Follow the onscreen prompts to finalise your Fetch
setup.
