Dear customer,

Before placing your new drawer refrigerator into operation please read these operating instructions carefully. They contain important information for safe use, for installation and for care of the appliance.
Please keep these operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance.
Notes which are important for your safety or for the proper functioning of the appliance are stressed with a warning triangle and/or with signal words
(Warning!, Caution!, Important! ). Please observe the following carefully.
Supplementary information regarding operation and practical applications of the appliance appear after this symbol.
Tips and notes concerning economical and environmentally sound use of the appliance are marked with the cloverleaf.

Important safety instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:

• Do not operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord.
• Do not operate if housing is removed or damaged.
• Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when appliance is used near children. Never allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside the appliance. Keep packing materials away from children.
• Before performing any maintenance or cleaning, ensure that the unit is unplugged or that the power line is disconnected.
• Do not clean appliance with flammable fluids. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
• Exercise caution when moving and installing the unit. The fridge is heavy and may require two or more people when moving the unit to prevent strain or injury.
• Do ensure proper ventilation for your appliance, the front of the unit must be completely unobstructed. Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures above 41 °F and below 100 °F.
• Locate the unit away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). This unit is intended for indoor use only and must be installed in an area protected from the elements.
• Place the appliance on a solid, level surface.
• Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of your appliance unless it is specifically recommended in this manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified technician.
• Connect to properly polarized outlets only. It is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only your appliance be provided. Use receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain. Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into the receptacle.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse appliance, plug or cord in water or other liquids. Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
• This appliance is designed to be built-in (fully-recessed) or freestanding.
• Do not use this appliance for other than its intended purpose. For indoor, household use only.
• Do not operate the unit with wet hands, while standing on a wet surface or while standing in water.
• Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents or abrasives on the interior of the cooler. These cleaners may damage or discolor the interior.
• Keep fingers out of pinch point areas and be careful when closing doors if children are around.
• This appliance is designed for storing and cooling wines. Do not store perishable food or medical products within the unit.
• When disposing of refrigerated appliances, special handling is often required. It is the consumer’s responsibility to comply with federal and local regulations when disposing of this product.
• Do not slide your cooler into place.
• WARNING: Risk of child entrapment and suffocation. Before you throw away this or an old unit, take off the door. Leave the shelves in place, so that children may not easily climb inside.
• Caution: flammable refrigerant used! When handing, moving and use of the refrigerator, make sure to avoid either damaging the refrigerant tubing, or increasing the risk of a leak.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury , unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before servicing.

If you are experiencing problems, check the Troubleshooting Guide at the back of this manual. It lists caused of minor operating problems that you can correct yourself.

Disposal of Old Appliance

Dispose of your appliance packaging properly.
Refrigeration equipment must be properly disposed of in a way which protects the environment. This applies to your old appliance and to your new unit once it has reached the end of its service life.
WARNING: Please ensure that old, worn appliances are rendered unusable before disposal by removing the plug, cutting the network cable, and removing or destroying any snap fastenings or bolts. You will thus prevent children from locking themselves in the appliance during play ( risk of suffocation) or endangering their lives in any other way.
Disposal Instruction:

• The appliance must not be disposed of in the dustbin or with normal household rubbish.
• The coolant circuit, particularly the heat exchanger at the back/bottom of the unit, must not be damaged.
• The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product is not to be handled as normal household waste but is to be taken to a recycling collection point for electrical and electronic goods. By correctly disposing of this product you are contributing to the protection of the environment and to the health of your fellow human beings. Improper disposal endangers health and the environment. Further information about the recycling of the product may be obtained from your town hall, refuse collection department or the store where you purchased the product.

Installation instructions

Before installing, carefully read the instruction in the end in order to avoid a certain number of problems.
Cutout Dimensions
Your product has been designed built-in or free standing installation.

Leveling the unit Position the unit on a flat, level surface capable of supporting the entire weight of the unit when full.
This unit contains four (4) adjustable leveling legs. Turn the legs clockwise to raise and counterclockwise to lower.

Installation the handles

Locate the handle (1) over the pins (3) of the door and tighten the handle by screwing the Allen key grub screws (2).

Electrical Connection

Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock.
If the power cord is damaged, frayed or shows cracks or abrasions across its length, have it replaced at an authorized service center.
For your protection, this unit is equipped with a 3-conductor cord set that has a molded 3-prong grounding-type plug, and should be used in combination with a properly connected grounding-type outlet.

• Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord supplied. For personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded.
• The cord should be secured behind the unit and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury.
• A standard electrical supply (115V AC only, 60Hz, 15A), properly grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances, is required.
• Never unplug the unit by pulling the power cord. To disconnect the appliance, always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the wall outlet. When moving the unit, be careful not to damage the power cord.
• The unit should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet with a voltage rating that matches the rating label on the unit.

Extension Cord
CAUTION: It is strongly recommended that you do not use an adapter or an extension cord with this unit.

Operating Your drawer refrigerator

The drawer refrigerator should be placed in a position where the ambient temperature is between 5-38℃/41-100℉. Humidity level is between 45~90%.
If the position is above or below this range, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cod or hot conditions may cause interior temperature to fluctuate.
NOTE:

• When you use the drawer refrigerator for the first time or restart the drawer fridge after having been shut off for a long time, there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated on the LED readout . This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time. Once the wine cooler is running for a few hours everything will be back to normal.
• If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the drawer fridge will not start.

The controls of your drawer refrigerator

ON/OFF Power
To turn the appliance ON or OFF, press and hold the POWER key for 3 seconds.
UP and DOWN
Press first, then press or button to increase(warm) or decrease(cool) the set temperature by 1°C/1°F.
Press   again, the temperature is selected and shows the actual temperature.
If no other further operation in 6 seconds, display will show actual temperature in the cooler.
°C/°F Selector
Selects the temperature display setting in Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees. To the change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius or from Celsius to
Fahrenheit, Press the button.
Setting the Temperature Control
The temperature you are setting will increase by one degree each time you press the key, and will decrease by one degree each time you press the key.
The range of the temperature control is from 1°C to 8°C (34°F~47°F . ）
To view the set temperature at any time, press the key. The set temperature will flash in the display window for 6 seconds. After 6 seconds, the temperature inside the unit will reappear in the display window.
Interior Light
The unit is equipped with an interior LED light which will be turned ON when the door is open.
DEFROSTING
The unit defrosts automatically in normal operating conditions.
The evaporator under the bottom of the unit defrosts automatically.
Drainage channel behind the rear wall of the unit, and flows through the drainage hole into the drip tray by the compressor where it evaporates.
However, frost may accumulate on the evaporator if the unit is repeatedly opened in a high heat or high humidity location. If this frost pattern does not clear within 24 hours, your unit will require manual defrosting.

Cleaning & Maintenance

CLEARING AND MAINTAINING YOUR APPLIANCE

Periodic cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure efficiency, top performance, and long life.
The maintenance intervals listed are based on normal conditions. You may want to shorten the intervals if you have pets or other special considerations.
Exterior Cleaning for Your Stainless Steel Model

• Your stainless steel model may discolor when exposed to chlorine gas, pool chemicals, salt water, or cleaners with bleach.
• Keep your stainless unit looking new by cleaning with a high quality, all-in-one stainless steel cleaner/polish on a monthly basis. Frequent cleaning will remove surface contamination that could lead to rust. Some installations will require cleaning on a weekly basis.
• DO NOT CLEANWITH STEELWOOL PADS.
• DO NOT USE CLEANERS THAT ARE NOT SPECIFICALLY INTENDED  FOR STAINLESS STEEL(this includes glassm tile and counter cleansers. )
• If any surface discolors or rusting appears, clean it quickly with Bon-Ami or Barkeepers Friend Cleanser and a non-abrasive cloth. Always clean in the direction of the grain. Always finish this process with a high quality, all-in-one stainless steel cleaner/polish to prevent further problems.
• USE OF ABRASIVE PADS SUCH AS SCOTCHBRITE WILL CAUSE THE GRAINING IN THE STAINLESS TO BECOME BLURRED.
• Rust that is allowed to linger can penetrate into the surface of the stainless steel and become impossible to remove.

CAUTION
Stainless steel models exposed to chlorine gas and moisture such as areas with spas or swimming pools, may have some discoloration of the stainless some discoloration of the stainless steel. Discoloration from chlorine gas is normal. Follow exterior cleaning instructions.
NEVER USE CHLORIDE TO CLEAN STAINLESS STEEL.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, you need to take the proper steps to protect the contents.
MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE

1. Remove all items
2. Securely tape down all loose items {shelves) inside your appliance
3. Turn the adjustable leg s up to the base to avoid damage.
4. Tape the door shut.
5. Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transportation. Also protect the outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar item.

ENERGY SAVING TIPS
The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room or outdoor location, away from heat – producing appliances and out of direct sunlight.
Ensure that the unit is adequately ventilated. Never cover air vents.
Do not keep the door open any longer than necessary.
Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the unit. Overloading the unit forces the compressor to run longer.
Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the unit.
This cuts down on frost build up inside the unit.
Unit shelves and storage bins should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper toweling.
Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the unit less efficient.
Organize and label stored items to reduce door openings and extended searches.
Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.

Trouble Shooting Guide

You can solve many common drawer refrigerator problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling customer service at warranty@thefcdesign.com.

The appliance is turned off.
Tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse.| Connect the appliance.
Switch on the appliance Switch on circuit breaker or replace fuse.
Appliance is not cold enough.| The temperature is not set correctly.
The ambient temperature could require a lower temperature setting.
The door was opened too often. The door was not closed completely.
Door is not hermetically sealed. The condenser is too dirty. The ventilation opening is blocked or too dusty.| Check the set temperature
Set a lower temperature. Do not open the door more often than necessary.
Close door properly.
Check the door seal and clean or replace.
Clean the condenser when necessary.
Clear the obstructions and clean the dust.
Appliance turns itself on and off frequently.| The room temperature is higher than average.
A large amount of food has been added to the unit. The door is open too often. The door is not closed completely.
The door gasket does not seal properly| Put the appliance in a cooler place.
Leave the appliance to work for a while until the set temperature has been reached.
Do not open the door more often than necessary.
Close door properly. Check the door seal and clean or replace
Vibrations| The appliance is not properly leveled.| Level the appliance with the adjustable feet.
The appliance seems to make too much noise.| The rattling noise may come from the flow of the refrigerant. which is normal. As each cyde ends. you may hear gurgling sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant in your appliance.
If temperature fluctuations occur, the contraction and expansion of the inner walls may cause popping and cracking noises.
The appliance is not properly level.| Level the appliance with the adjustable feet.
The door will not close properly| The appliance is not properly level.
The door was reversed and not properly installed.
The gasket is dirty
The shelves are out of position.| Level the appliance with the adjustable feet.
Check the door hinge and reassemble correctly.
Clean the door gasket.
Check the shelves and refit correctly.

This product has been manufactured by The FC Design Inc.
The FC Design disclaims all express warranties except for the following:
This warranty applies to products purchased and located in the United States.
Products purchased or located outside this area are excluded.
The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from abuse, accident, natural disaster, loss of electrical power to the product for any reason, alteration, outdoor use, improper installation, and improper operation, repair or service of the product by anyone other than an authorized The FC Design, service agency or representative.
Warranties and Duration
Warranty: first year parts and labor, second year only parts. Implied warranties terminate upon expiration of the limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to your implied warranty.
The FC Design will pay for:
All repair labor and cost of replacement parts found to be defective due to material and workmanship. Service must be provided by The FC Design with contact at warranty@thefcdesign.com
The FC Design will not pay for:
This limited warranty does not cover:

1. Service to instruct you on how to use your drawer refrigerator to correct house wiring, replace or repair house fuses, service to correct the installation of your drawer refrigerator.
2. Repairs when your drawer refrigerator is used for other than normal, single-family household use or when it is used in a manner that is contrary to published user or operator instructions and/or installation instructions.
3. Cosmetic damage, including chips, dents, scratches or other damage to the finish of your drawer refrigerator, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported to The FC Design within 30 days from the date of purchase.
4. Costs associated with the removal from your home of your drawer refrigerator for repairs. This drawer refrigerator is designed to be repaired in the home and only in-home service is covered by this warranty.
5. Damage resulting from misuse, alteration, accident, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation not in accordance with electrical, or use of consumables or cleaning products not approved by The FC Design.
6. Service to repair or replace consumable parts. Consumable parts are not included in the warranty coverage.
7. The removal and reinstallation of your drawer refrigerator if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions.
8. This warranty is void if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from your drawer refrigerator.
9. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the appliance.
10. Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your drawer refrigerator is located in a remote area where service by an authorized The FC Design servicer is not available.
11. In any circumstance, The FC Design does not pay for food loss claims on drawer refrigerator products.
    The warranty applies to appliances purchased and used for personal, family or household purposes only. It does not cover appliances used for commercial applications.
    Should the appliance be sold by the original purchaser during the warranty period, warranty shall extend to the new owner until the expiration date of the original purchaser warranty period.

Warranty and Product Registration
The FC Design is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
Under no circumstances will The FC Design’s liability exceed the cost that you paid for the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Whenever you call our customer service at warranty@thefcdesign.com for technical information and parts sales in the United States or to request service for your appliance, please have your complete model number and serial number ready. The model and serial number can be found on the product data plate. Please enter the information requested in the spaces provided.
