Software installation method
Scan the QR code in the picture, download the “Hello Translator” app, and choose to install it on your mobile phone according to different mobile phone systems to start using.

After scaned the QR code , select the option in the upper right corner of the phone screen;

Choose to download using a third-party browser;

Enter the third-party browser and start to download the APP then install it.

iOS version APP download:

After scaned the QR code , select the option in the upper right corner of iphone screen;

Choose to download using a third-party browser or Safari browser;

After entering the third-party browser or Safari browser, it will automatically jump to the “App store”, then click get to download and install.
- You can also directly in “App store” search “hello translator”,and click get to download and install.
AI Translator connection
How to connect the Android phone to the device:

Slide the power button to turn on the device.

Open the APP, follow the APP prompts to register an account and log in.

Rescan the QR code enter Network settings.You can choose WIFI or Mobile hotspot networking.

Long press [Volume-] button until green light flashing to enter networking mode. (When the translator entering the networking mode, it will emit the voice prompt of the “networking mode”, and the green indicator light will flash.)

WiFi networking:

Click “WiFi” to enter the WiFi network interface.

Choose the 2.4G , and enter the WiFi password. Then click “Sure” to enter the network interface and emit a sound wave. At this moment, please move the translator to the side of the phone to facilitate connection. When the translator connected to the network, it will emit the voice prompt of the “network connected”. At the same time, the app automatically jumps to the translation interface and you can start using it.

Mobile hotspot networking:

Click “Mobile hotspot” and turn on your mobile hotspot.

Enter the name and password of your mobile hotspot, and click “Sure” to enter the network interface. The phone will emit a sound wave. At this moment, please move the translator to the side of the phone to facilitate connection. When the translator connected to the network, it will emit the voice prompt of the “network connected”. At the same time, the app automatically jumps to the translation interface and you can start using it.

Language Switching
Click the language at the top of the APP translation interface to switch the language type.
Speech Translation
- In the defalut mode, press the voice B key until blue light remains on to speak English then release it to translate into Chinese;
- In the defalut mode, press the voice A key until blue light remains on to speak Chinese then release it to translate into English;
- You can also set the voice keys to other languages in the mobile APP. Or use the Google Assistant voice key to switch the translation language like saying “English to Japanese”.
Function Description
Google Assistant
Long press this key and ask some questions with Google Assistant. It knows Dictionary, Sports News, Weather, Stocks, Games, Calculating, Nutrition, Currency Exchange, Flights Information…
Long press the button and try to ask some questions like below:
“Is there any NBA game”
“What is binary”
“3 times 3 equals”
“Today’s weather in New York”
“What can you do”
“How many dollars is a euro to be exchanged”
“Say a proverb”
“How much vitamin C is in an orange”
“Today’s Stock Market”
“Flights to San Francisco”

Notice: Google Assistant only support English in this step, more languages will be coming soon.
Repetition
Short press the middle button to repeat what did it translated before for your follow up and deep understanding.
Spoken English Test
You can listen and repeat after this App to training and improving your spoken English. Also, it can score and correct your pronunciation by using this App.
Volume Control
Turn down/turn up the volume by pressing the button on the left and right.
Notices
- For iPhone users, please restart your personal hotspot after “received network information” prompted and then waiting for other instruction “network connected” if you are using “Mobile hotspot”.
- Please click “Settings” column on the upper right side in this App if you need to change networking.
- Long press [Volume-] button until green light turns off if log out the “networking mode.”
- This translator can only support 2.4G WIFI, please do not chose 5G WIFI.

Troubleshooting
Unable to boot
- Check the translator to see if it’s out of battery, remining battery power can be seen in App.
- Charging status also can be checked in App.
Weak signal
- Check your mobile phone hotspot or router.
- Restart the translator and try again.
Unable to access the Internet
- Check other devices to see if it can access the current Wi-Fi or hotspot.
- Check the Wi-Fi password you entered.
- Check if there is a connection limit on the Wi-Fi router.
- When the iPhone users turn on the hotspot, if there is an if “Enable Wi-Fi”pop-up window, please select “Enable”.
Inaccurate translation
- Please try to use standard speaking pace and pronunciation when speaking.
- Try to be as close as possible to the device.
- Try to use this device in a quite environment as possible.
Short standby time
- Please turn off the translator when not use.
- Turn down the volume when using.
Cannot hear clearly
Turn the volume up and replay.
