Included with your Volkano Wireless Presenter

Specifications

  1.  Insert 1 x AAA battery into the battery compartment.
  2.  Remove USB Receiver from the Wireless Presenter.
  3.  Insert the USB Receiver into a USB port of the device being used.
  4.  Switch Wireless Presenter on. (Indication LED light will flash twice)
  5.  Wireless Presenter will now be connected.

Functions

(With the Wireless Presenter on and connected)

  1.  Open a Microsoft PowerPoint or other presentation file, press and hold the “Page Up” button for 2 seconds to start the Slide Show.
  2. Press the “Page Up/Down” buttons to switch between slides.
  3.  Press and hold the “Page Down” button for 2 seconds to pause the Slide Show and blackout the screen.
  4. Press either the “Page Up/Down” button to light up the screen and continue the Slide Show.
  5.  Press and hold the “Laser Pointer Button” to turn the laser on.
  6.  Press and hold the “Page Up” button for two seconds to exit the full screen.
  7.  By default, the “Page Up/Down” buttons function as Left/Right arrows, by pressing and holding the “Page Up” and “Page Down” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, the function will change to Up/Down arrows.  Pressing and holding both the “Page Up/Down” buttons for 3 seconds again will change the function to Page Up/Down. When both the “Page Up/Down” buttons are pressed and held again, the function will return to the Left/Right arrow.
  8. The function of the “Page Up/Down” buttons are stored and saved, even when switched off.
  9.  When either the “Page Up/Down” buttons are pressed, the blue indication LED light on the Wireless Presenter will flash.
  10. When the blue LED indication light starts to flash slowly, the battery is low and needs replacing.

Safety Precautions

The laser pointer on this device produces an intensely concentrated beam of light and can cause damage if used irresponsibly. Please ensure responsible use of the laser pointer and instructs anyone using it of the dangers associated with laser light.

  • Never shine the laser pointer at any person, vehicle or aircraft
  • Never shine the laser pointer into eyes as prolonged  exposure can cause blindness
  •  Do not shine the laser pointer towards a mirror or other highly reflective surface as you may not be able to  control where the reflection points
  • Switch off the laser pointer when not using it
  •  Do not expose this pointer or any of its components to high temperatures or moisture
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the pointer
  •  Keep out of reach of children

Environmentally Friendly Disposal
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
