Introduction
This document is the instructions for assembling the PiCAN2, PiCAN3 or PiCAN FD board with the Raspberry Pi 4. A small Philips screw driver is required.
Methods
First check all parts are present. Separate the 8x countersunk and 8x pan head
screws. There might be two different length of the pan head screws supplied.



Get the PiCAN2, PiCAN3 or PiCAN FD board ready.

Place the Raspberry Pi 4 on the lower half of the case and fasten with 4 x pan
head screws. Use short pan head screws if two lengths is in the bag.

Place 4x brass spacer inside the top half of the case. Fasten with 4x
countersunk screws.


Turn the PiCANx board upside down and place on top of the brass spacers. You
may need to push the side wall out slight in order to lower the board in
place. Fasten with 4x pan head screw. Use long version if two different length
is supplied.

Place top half and lower next to each other ready for final assembly.

Slide the top half to the lower half. Make sure it is aligned with not gaps.

Not aligned correctly.


Fasten with 4x countersunk screws. Two on each side.
Insert SD card and ready to go.
