Mini USB Charger
This power supply unit was specifically designed for navigation devices that are powered via a mini USB connector.
Using this power supply unit, navigation devices can easily be charged even without a PC or laptop.
Before start-up, ensure that the maximum output current is not exceeded. The power supply unit can of course be used with all other mini USB devices.
Before using your navigation device with a Hama power supply unit, please be sure to read the information regarding power supply in your navigation device operating instructions.
Unless your operating instructions explicitly inform you otherwise, proceed as follows:
- While it is switched off, connect the navigation device to the power supply unit in the correct direction.
- Then insert the power supply unit into the cigarette lighter socket.
- Only now should you switch on your navigation device for further use.
When charging batteries within the navigation device, observe the maximum charging times for the built-in batteries!
Note: The status LED indicates the proper operating status/battery charge state.
Safety notes on charging units
- Do not short-circuit charger/power supply unit contacts!
- Only use the unit in dry rooms and protect it against moisture and dust.
- Since batteries, chargers and power supplies heat up during charging, do not cover them and ensure sufficient ventilation. Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
- Never use or open defective power supply units or chargers.
- Repair work may only be conducted by an authorized specialist.
- Caution! Keep this device, as with all electronic devices, out of the reach of children!
