Operating instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your andi be free® Vent Mount Charger. The Vent Mount Charger charges your smartphone in the car and holds it magnetically and attaches stably to the vent. The charger rotates for an optimal view of the display.
Please make it easy for yourself and watch the video for assembly. Just scan the QR code and watch the instruction. Thank you very much for this. The operating instructions contain important information about the safety, use and disposal of the device. Before using the device, familiarize yourself in detail with all operating and safety instructions to avoid the risk of fire, electric shock, injury and property damage. Only use accessories intended for the andi be free® device, such as cables, power plugs, adhesive pads or similar. The Vent Mount Charger is designed to deliver the maximum power of up to 9 volts (V) and 3 amps (A) when using a QC2 or higher or USB-PD compatible power supply with output of 9 Volt (V) und 3 Ampere (A). The charger adjusts the delivered current to the smartphone in a dynamic way. The delivered current varies depending on various factors such as temperature and system activity.

Power Supply Requirement

To get the maximum performance, please use a QC3 (9V/3A) or PD power supply. Power supply with at minimum 18 watts power

Connecting the Charger

  • Remove the Vent Mount Charger from the package and connect the included USB C cable to the charger head.
  • Inspect the andi be free® Wireless Vent Mount Charger, as well as all included accessories, for damage. A defective device must not be put into operation under any circumstances.
  • Check if the mechanism [1] of the hook is compatible with your ventilation. The hook must fit through the fins Tecflower-Ag-Andi-Be-Free-Wireless-Charger-Ventilation-15W-fig- \(1\)
  • Insert the hooking mechanism through the ventilation grille of your car through the lowest slat [2] and hook it.
  • Turn the rotating mechanism [3] until it is fixed firmly to the vent (if you tighten it too much, the slats can break)
  • By loosening the screw nut [4] behind the charging head, the charging head can be tilted to your desired position and tightened again.
  • The USB C cable needs to connected with the USB port of the car or a power plug for the cigarette lighter.

If you use an iPhone that has MagSafe, you don‘t need an adhesive pad or case.

Attaching the andi be free® Sticky Pad

  • To improve the adhesion of the andi be free® Sticky Pad, it is necessary to clean the back of your smartphone or smartphone case. Please use cleaning agents and accessories suitable for smartphones or cases.
  • Place your smartphone (or case) with the display facing down on a flflat surface where it cannot be scratched.
  • Place the template on the back of the smartphone/case, making sure you can read the millimeter markings on the edges of the smartphone/case Move the template until the millimeter readings on the right and left side show the same number/ millimeter. The millimeters at the top and bottom should also be identical.
  • Take the Sticky Pad and remove the protective fifilm. Hold the Sticky Pad on the edge only so as not to transfer any dirt to the adhesive surface (this will affffect the adhesive strength).
  • Hold the template fifirmly with one hand and check again that the template is correctly seated.
  • Stick the Sticky Pad into the round recess of the template on the smartphone.
  • Press the Sticky Pad fifirmly and wait 30 minutes before the fifirst use.
  • Before the fifirst use, check the hold of the Sticky Pad by docking it to the charger and pulling it offff gently.

Start and stop charging

  • With the help of the andi be free® Sicky Pad your smartphone can magnetically attach to the charger (*).
  • Push the bottom of your smartphone against the top of the charging head of the andi be free® Wireless Vent Mount Charger.
  • Now slowly lower the smartphone until you notice the strongest attraction of the magnet and then release your smartphone. The charging process will start automatically and will be shown on the smartphone display.
  • To disconnect, remove the smartphone gently sideways from the charging head by tilting it sideways. The charging process will be interrupted automatically.

Safety Instructions

Power

  • Use a QC3 power plug for optimal charging results. Never disconnect the USB power plug with wet or damp hands!
  • In case of malfunction while using the andi be free® device, unplug the power plug. Do not carry or pull the andi be free® product by the USB cable. The USB cable must not be bent, pinched or pulled over sharp edges.
  • The unused and unattended andi be free® device must be disconnected from the power supply if you are going to be absent for a long period of time. If you notice that the andi be free® product emits odor, smoke or noises, immediately turn off the power supply to the device (by operating the fuses of the power supply), then disconnect the device from the power supply and do not use it again.
  • If the andi be free® product falls into the water, first make absolutely sure that no more current is still flowing. To do this, operate the fuses of your power supply. Then, before removing the device from the water, be sure to unplug the power cord from the mains. Do not use the andi be free® Vent Mount Charger after removing it from the water.

Car ride

Never operate your smartphone or andi be free® product while driving. If you use your smartphone as a navigation device, enter your destination before you start driving. Avoid displaying distracting content on your smartphone while driving. Please observe the legislation of your location

Surroundings

  • Operate the andi be free® device on the designated area. Do not place or lay the andi device on hot surfaces and do not expose it to heat, liquids, rain or steam. Do not expose it to heat, liquids, rain or steam.
  • Do not operate the andi be free® product outdoors or expose it to the elements.

The packaging material does not belong in children‘s hands, as this can lead to serious accidents.

Andi be free® Sticky Pad for smartphone case and smartphone

Our andi be free® Sticky Pad sticks to most smartphone models and cases Known to us and excluded are silicone cases and potential future smartp-ho ne models with special (dirt) repellent coatings. Holding power and wireless charging function are only given if:

  1. your smartphone has an integrated wireless charging function
  2. your smartphone case is not more than 5mm thick
  3. your smartphone including case does not exceed the weight of 300g
  4. smartphone and case are qi-compatible

Any warranty or other claims on the part of Tecflower AG are excluded for incorrect use. andi be free® Sticky Pad
The Sticky Pad can be peeled off after use but cannot be reused. It may leave residue as well as discoloration on the smartphone case.

Repairs

Repairs to the device must only be carried out by a specialist (person authorized by andi be free®). Do not open it yourself under any circumstances, as any warranty claim will be forfeited and personal injury and property damage may result. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact 1) the dealer from whom you purchased the device, or 2) the andi be free® store under Returns and Warranty‘ (www.wireless-charging.com) if you purchased the device there.

Magnets

The device contains magnets that hold your smartphone securely in place. Do not use the andi be free® product in the vicinity of any magnet-sensitive objects, such as credit cards, pacemakers or magnetic storage media.

Cleaning

Unplug the andi be free® Vent Mount Charger before cleaning it. Clean it carefully with a microfiber cloth. Do not use any electro-damaging liquids or paint-damaging substances when doing so. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents, as these can damage the surface.

Disposal

Do not dispose of in household waste. The Vent Mount Charger must be recycled responsibly to ensure the sustainable reuse of https://wireless- charging.com/pages/general-terms-and-conditions resources. To return the used device, the local return and collection systems should be used or the dealer from whom the product was purchased should be contacted. The latter can also take back the product for environmentally friendly recycling.
