Important safety instructions

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using.
• Keep electrical products away from water.
• As with all electrical products parts are electrically live when switch is off as still connected to a live electricity supply. Always be cautious of this.
• Always unplug after use.
• Do not use around liquids.
• Do not store or place the product where it can fall or be pulled into quid’s(i.e.near sink or tub).
• Do not place in or drop in water or any other liquid.
• If appliance falls into water, unplug it’ immediately. Do not reach into water.

How to change the different wand attachments

Turn off the product and remove plug from the mains

Allow the unit to cool before handling. Press down the two buttons in the front of the handle, grasp the wand attachment and pull away from the main unit. (If you are having trouble replacing the wand please try again after unit has completely cooled.)

To reattach a new wand

Wait until the unit has cooled enough to handle. Keep both sides at the same level please see picture CD for guidance. Hold the handle and push it n directly just as in picture@, then it will be locked in
position just as is shown in picture®·

• An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly or it has been dropped, damaged, dropped into water. If product has incurred any damage, please return the appliance to a service center for recrimination and repair.
• Keep the cord away from hot surfaces. DO NOT wrap the cord around the appliance.
• Never use whilst feeling tired or impaired.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
• DO NOT use outdoors or operate where aerosol( spray )products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• This curling iron is hot when in use. Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as skin and eyes. Always use the handle to carry, never the wand attachments.
• DO NOT use an extension cord with this appliance.
• DO NOT place the heated appliance directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in.

Curling iron instructions

• Step 1. Select a small even strand of hair to place in a curl.(Note. for full head curls prior to curling, section your hair and curl from your neckline to forehead.)
• Step 2. Place the base of the curling iron handle near the scalp or your head with the tip facing down.
• Step 3. Wrap the hair from the base of the curling iron to the tip in a downward direction(using the heat protective glove to protect your hands).
• Step 4. Hold the hair around the curlerfor2 to 5 seconds.
• Step 5. With out pulling the curling iron down, release the hair from the tip allowing the hair to slide out.
• Step 6. Slide the curling iron out of the hair. DO NOT PULL ITDOWN: IT WILL MAKE THE CURL TANGLE.
• It is preferable that prior to curling that the hair is not covered in too much hair styling products as these may weigh down or damage the hair(i.e too much gel, mousse etc).
• Save The Instructions and refer back to them as necessary.

Maintenance instructions

Your appliance is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source allow to cool. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.

If any malfunction occurs, DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. This product is a high temperature product. Please use it carefully to prevent scalding.

Storage

When not in use unplug from the mains. Allow the appliance to cool and then store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never wrap the cord around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle cord carefully for longer life and avoid jerking, bending, sharply twisting or straining cord especially at plug connections.

Operating instructions

DO NOT attempt to detach the safety feature.

Styling tips for your curling iron

• Pressing the”+””-” key at the same time can convert the display of degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Long press the rectangle button for three seconds to switch on and off, and the display will light up.
• If the display shows “Err”, the wand attachment may not be fully inserted. In this case, please re-insert the curling iron wand and then restart the process.
• A magic sticker is added to the charging line for easy storage.
• Hair should be clean and completely dry before using any styling iron.
• If your styling iron has the specially designed non stick coating, you can use your favorite gel, hair spray or mousse without worrying about hair sticking to the iron when you use it( not in excess).
• Plug the iron in for a couple of minutes for optimal styling even though there is fast heat up.
• For more thicker coarser hair use a smaller section.
