Helpful Hint: You can charge your unit and run your gear at the same time!

HOW TO CHARGE

The LCD screen indicates when the X-300 unit is being charged. Once fully charged, all battery segments will be lit and remain solid. As long as there is more power going into the unit than is being pulled from the output ports, the display will also indicate an estimated time until fully charged. This is an estimated time based on the power input and output numbers at that time; it will gradually adjust to a shorter or longer time as the average charge or discharge rates fluctuate.

MULTIPLE WAYS TO CHARGE

WALL
Using the included AC Wall Charger, plug your power station into any wall outlet. Use the DC port that is highlighted in white on the front of the unit. You will know the unit is charging when the blue LED light next to the input port turns on, and battery segments in the battery display are blinking. It is fully charged when all battery segments stop blinking and remain solid. The Power Ridge ® X-300 should recharge from the wall in about 5 hours.

USB-C
Charge your power station using a 60W USB-C PD input/output port by plugging into any USB-C charger (sold separately). Please use the port on the front marked in/out.
You need to activate the port by pushing the USB-C button. Force Output function can be engaged by holding the USB-C button for three seconds. This is for 2 devices connected that have input/output functions.

HOW TO CHARGE (CONT.)

CAR
Plug into your vehicle’s 12V Auxiliary Port/Car Charger using the provided car charger only. NOTE: Do not attempt to charge the power station from another 12V source using another cable, it may lead to damage of the unit. The Power Ridge ® X-300 should recharge with a car charger in about 6 hours.
SOLAR PANEL
Power Ridge® has one DC charging port on the front of the unit. The port is designed to work with a solar panel (adapter may be needed) and maximize its efficiency with a  PPT installed. Use the DC port that is highlighted in white on the front of the unit. It is capable of taking a combined input of 110 watts using DC and USB-C inputs. The Power Ridge® X-300 should recharge with a solar panel (purchased separately) indirect light in about 6 hours.

  1. Place your solar panel where it will get as much direct sunlight as possible.
  2. Insert the plug from the panel into the DC input port. You will know it is charging when the blue LED light next to the input port lights up, and the battery segments in the LCD battery display are blinking. The unit is fully charged when all battery segments stop blinking and remain solid.
  3. Some solar panels are chainable to provide more power to your power station and reduce solar charge times. Accessories may be needed if solar panels are not equipped to be daisy-chained. Make sure the open-circuit voltage of the solar module is not higher than 27V and not lower than 12V.

SWIFT TECH™
Simultaneous charging using both the USB-C Port and DC port allows you to cut charge time in almost half with an estimated recharge of 2.7 hours. You just need to follow both steps in the How to Charge section. The max charge input for this unit is 110W. The charging time mentioned above is full speed charging under the condition of no
load on the X-300 power supply.

DISPLAY
Press to turn on and off the LCD screen.
AC/USB-A/USB-C/DC
Press to allow items plugged into the ports to receive power from the power station.
INPUT
Shows the amount of power (watts) going into the power station while charging. If charging from solar, you’ll see the watts change as you reposition the panels into/out of the sunlight.
OUTPUT
Shows the amount of power (watts) your devices are using while plugged into the power station.
TIME TO EMPTY/FULL
Shows the amount of time before your power station is completely charged or empty, depending on if the net amount of power being consumed/charged.
BATTERY LEVEL
Shows 5 segments, approximating 20% – 40% – 60% – 80% -100% capacity. As you use segments will disappear from the display, indicating the remaining charge. When charging you will notice a battery segment blinking. This indicates the current charge status. Once fully charged, all battery segments will be lit and remain solid. There is also an actual percentage that is calculated for you on the percentage of full battery for an additional indication.
When the battery is too low, the empty battery symbol flashes for 30 seconds.
When the battery is charging, the battery symbol and charge percentage flash.
When overvoltage protection is engaged, the DC-IN and the battery symbol flash synchronously 1 long and 1 short.
When temperature protection is triggered, the battery symbol flashes for 30 seconds at 2 short and 1 long.

HOW TO STORE

Ideally, the power station should be plugged in when not in use is the best way to keep it fully charged and ready to use at a moment’s notice. This prolongs battery life and will ensure your power station is charged and ready to go all day, every day. If you can’t keep your power station plugged into a power source during storage, we recommend that you keep the battery at about 50% and store it in a clean, dry (no more than 75% humidity), room-temperature environment, or fully charge it every 3 months.
Failure to maintain your power station by following these steps can result in battery damage which will void the product warranty.
KEY FEATURES
