This User Guide helps get you ready to manage properties remotely.

FIG 1 OVERVIEW

Charge

Please charge your key box first. Connect the micro USB to wall power.

Cover the USB port with the cap after charge. The key box is not weatherproof without the cap covering the USB port.

Activate

Follow the instruction on the manager APP to activate the key box.

Release Shackle

If the shackle is locked securely, releasing the shackle can be tricky. With some practice, it will be easy for you but not others.

Setup Keys

Convenient Setup
Simply slide your existing keychain into the keychain of the Key Storage. Do not use an oversize keychain or thin tags as they may jam the key box.

Secure Setup
Unscrew the Phillips screw to release the keychain. Insert the keys into the keychain. Then, fasten the screw.
This approach secures the keys in the Key Storage better, but it is more di‹cult to install and uninstall the keys.

Check Connection
For the best product experience, LTE connection is required. Check your phone signal where you plan to install the key box. At poor signal areas, the key box will enter off l“ine mode where remote control features and notifications will not be available.

O…ff line Mode
You can still release the shackle by the master QR code. Your visitors can still release Key Storage by scanning QR code on the trip itinerary.

Attach Key Box to the Property
Lock the key box firmly on the door handle, railing, or doorknob with the shackle until you hear “Click”.

Link Property

In the Manager APP, link the key box to the property you want to manage.

Invite your team to help manage your properties.

Permission

Grant the permission of management or access based on your needs.

Schedule visits and send trip itineraries to your visitors by you and your team.

Self-schedule

Let your prospects schedule and you monitor. Share your self-schedule web handle with prospects so they can schedule with Photo IDs.

Prospects Self-schedule Visits
Share your self-schedule web handle on social media or via online chat, let your prospects schedule visits by themselves with valid Photo IDs. You will receive notifications when a visit is scheduled by your prospects. This feature is currently available for enterprise partners. Ask [email protected] for details.

Release Key Storage from Itineraries

Your visitors can securely release Key Storage from the trip itineraries without an additional APP.

To get the most accurate visit time, encourage your visitors to hold on to the Key Storage until they are done visiting.
Key Storage will be retrived if the visitor does not take it before timeout.
****QR code and the Get Key Now button will only be avaiable during the scheduled time.

Return Key Storage

Once the Key Storage is returned, you will receive the notification. You can also see if the visitor stays overtime, delayed, or no show.

Auto Follow-up

A follow up email with your customized application form will be sent automatically to the visitor at check-out.

Power

A fully charged key box has near 6 month standby time, or can continuously operate over 100 times of check-in and check-out.

Operation in Rain or Snow

Install the key box under cover to avoid heavy rain or snow on the camera.

Try to Keep the Key Box under Cover
The key box is not able to read QR code when rain drops, snow or thick dust cover the camera lens. Try to use the remote release function or clean the camera lens if the key box must be installed outdoor without a cover.

Tamper Alert

When the key box is powered continuously in a short period of time without successful check-in or check-out, you will receive a notification.

It is often to have the tamper alert triggered when your visitors arrive early and try to check-in before the scheduled time.

Troubleshooting

In rare cases when the key box is out of your control, follow the instruction below to troubleshoot.

  1. Charge the Key Box
    When the key box has low battery, you cannot release the shackle or Key Storage. Charge the key box with a power bank for at least 5 minutes.

  2. Soft Reset
    Press and hold the check-in button for 10 seconds.

  3. Factory Reset
    Find the factory reset button in the small hole at the bottom of the key box by the USB port. Use a pen to poke the reset button and the key box will be reset to factory default settings.
