Installing Your String Light

• Hang bulbs with screw nails.
  

• Pass the steel cable through hanging holes and fix ends of the cable firmly.
  
  Notice:

  • The diameter of the steel cable and screw head should be less than 5mm;
  • Make sure unsupported part is no more than 2 bulbs.

Downloading the Govee Home App

• Prepare a smart phone or tablet running iOS 9.3 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above);
• Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
  
  
  

Connecting the String Light to Govee Home

Notice:

Please make sure the string light is powered on and Bluetooth in your mobile phone is turned on.

1. Open the Govee Home, tap “+” icon in the top right corner and select “H7002”;
2. Connect to “H7002_XXXX”;
3. Name the string light;
4. Start to use the string light with Govee Home.

Connecting the String Light to Govee Home

• Color Changing:
  Change the light color.

• Color Temperature Scale:
  Adjust color temperature of white lighting.

• Brightness Adjusting:
  Dim/Brighten the string light.

• Individual Bulb Control:
  Change bulb’s color and brightness individually.

• DIY Scene Modes:
  1.8 scene modes optional; 2.Select the color and speed for scene modes except for Illumination.

• Music Mode:
  The lighting flashes and changes colors according to the music beat.

• Timer Setting:

1. Turn on/off at preset time automatically;
2. Wake up and Sleep functions.

• Group Control:
  Support individual bulb or group bulbs control.

Using the String Light with the Remote Control

• On/Off:
  Press to turn the string light on/off.

• Off Delay:
  Press it and the string light will be automatically turned off 2 or 4 hours later. (Notice: It only delays for one time.)

• Scene Mode:
  Press MODE + or MODE – button to cycle through the lighting effect of Illumination, Gradient, Raindrop, Colorful, Marquee, Blinking, Snow Flake and Starry-sky.

• Speed Adjusting:
  Press SPEED + or SPEED – button to speed up or slow down the lighting effect among 5 levels.

• Music Mode:
  Press to switch the Music Mode between dynamic and soft.

• Series Control:
  Press to select control one string light or two series string lights.

• Brightness Adjusting:
  Press to adjust the light brightness among S levels.

• Color Changing:
  Press Color + or Color – button to change the color among 15 options. (Notice: 15 options include 13 vivid colors, cool white and warm white.)

• RGBW Buttons:
  R/G/B: Press to change color to red/green/blue. W: Press to switch color between warm white and cool white.

Group Control

1. Group Control with Govee Home

   • Connect all string lights you want to control to the Govee Home as indicated above;

   • Select “Scene in “My Devices” page;

   • Tap “+” icon in the top right corner, select “Bluetooth class” and name the group;

   • Tap “+” icon under “Scene devices” and select string lights need to be controlled;
     (Notice: Up to 6 string lights are allowed to be selected.)

   • Start to control multiple string lights with the Govee Home app.

2. Group Control with the RF Remote
   Install all string lights within 15m/49.2ft of the RF remote, and you can control them with the RF remote in one go.

Control String Lights in Series

1. Connect string lights as indicated in the picture;

2. Control string lights in series:

   • App Control: Select “2 Strings (30 bulbs) when connecting the string light to the app.
   • RF Remote Control: Press Series Control button to select control one string light or two series string lights.
     (Notice: It gets ready to control one string light when bulbs flash once and two series string lights when bulbs flash twice.)

Notice

1. Up to 2 string lights (30m) are allowed to be connected in series.
2. Make sure select “2 Strings (30 bulbs) in the app or press Series Control button on the RF remote before using two series string lights, otherwise the string lights won’t work normally.

Troubleshooting

1. Failed to connect to the app or lost connection with the app.
   • Make sure the string light has been powered on.
   • Make sure the Bluetooth in your mobile phone is turned on.
   • Change a mobile phone and connect to the app in case Bluetooth on the previous phone works abnormally.
   • Keep your mobile phone as close to the string light as possible.
   • Delete the string light in the setting page and re-connect.
2. The RF remote works abnormally.
   • Make sure the distance between the remote and the string light is less than 15m/49.2ft.
   • Keep obstructions (e.g. metal door) between the remote and the string light as few as possible.
   • Replace 2 new CR2025 batteries for the RF remote.
3. About voice control. It doesn’t work with Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant due to Bluetooth connectivity.
4. Some bulbs work abnormally.
   • Plug out the string light and re-plug it in to try again.
   • Please contact Govee support team if it still doesn’t work.

Warning

1. Do not immerse the string light in the water.
2. It should work in an environment with a temperature ranging from -4°F to 104°F.
3. This device should only be installed by adults. Children should not install this device.
4. Do not disassemble it by your own.
5. Do not install it near any heat or danger sources.
